| Many people have accused popular Shonen anime series such as Naruto, Bleach and Fairy Tail of being "too cliche". My question are, when did popular Shonen series become cliche? During the time they were being aired, were Dragon Ball Z and Yu Yu Hakusho considered cliche? What aspects of Shonen anime do you consider cliche? |

| Well, I guess the fact they have to defeat bosses every time and how they upgrade themselves. But, I don't know lol I don't mind. |

I like the bond they have. I think it depends on the anime. Some people can't stand the power of friendship in anime like Fairy Tail, but love it in One Piece lol. |
