Yes I own all six, actually. They're very good, even though every now and then I notice animation or sound problems. My favorite is season two on namek. For some reason Christopher Sabat didn't voice over his initial Vegeta voice for the fourth season and now it doesn't match the powerful Vegeta voice in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd seasons. I have no idea why he slipped up like that, maybe he was too involved with other things when the fourth season came out. The rest should be fine though since he discovered the ultimate Vegeta voice somewhere between the fourth and fifth season. I can't wait until the rest come out!

Yes, it really is Uncut. I should know since I rented & watched the digitally remastered and uncut versions of Seasons 1-6 (From Netflix) myself :-P.

As for original sound and subtitles, they do have Japanese audio, subtitles, and, umm, *brain burst*

Can't remember anything else, sorry I cant help you out T_T.

Dragon Ball Remastered (should be 5 seasons) is gonna be epic I've heard it'll come out 2010 cos of the Lions Gate licence.
I've also heard that the Broly movies will be made into a tripple feature on Blu-Ray and DVD.

Actually, the Lionsgate license is gonna end around 2011, and hopefully FUNimation will be able to pick up the licensing rights.

May/19/2009 for season 9 (and most likley for the Fusion Reborn/Wrath Of The Dragon double feature), Broly triple feature is on March/31/2009. Usually these come out sooner than said as I already have Season 8 and GT season 2.

I have 2 questions.

1.) How did you get these early, and where?

2.) Do you know how to rip DVDs?

1.) I got them from a U.K web based company called http://www.dvdslimited.com (they ship internationally, all prices in UK £) and all the DBZ/GT boxsets retail for £24.49 each not sure on postage to the USA or anywhere else, sorry. I found it when I searched ebay UK for the season 5 boxset. It was easier/quicker to order them from a U.K based company and I didn't have to pay any import fees although it worked out a little bit more for me (like £5.00). From what I gather they get the boxsets in bulk order straight from FUNImation and If they have them in stock before the release date they send them (this has only happened with DBZ S7 I got it 1 week early and DBZ S8 and GT S2 I got them on Jan/27).

2.) Regarding the DVD rip, I don't have the software to do it, sorry. Hope this helps.

Also I can definatly confirm Super Vegeto is on the box for season 9 after watching the trailer (the trailer is on youtube at the moment).

1.) Meh, I don't plan on buying it anyways, there's no point in doing so since Netflix will be getting it. Renting is always cheaper.

2.) Do you ever plan on getting the software needed/required to rip DVDs?

By the way, may I please have a link to the trailer of season 8 of DBZ on YouTube?

Unfourtunatly for me the UK doesn't have anywhere (to my knowledge) to rent the boxsets, but even if it did I'd probably still buy them. I like to own stuff like that lol.

here's the trailers for S8 and S9:
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=fhU2Pqhr9aE <<<<<Season 9 Trailer
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=M8-qNDKDHG8 <<<<Season 8 Trailer
*NOTE*
S9 trailer is the only 1 on youtube atm sorry for the low quality

I may get DVD rip because I enjoy making AMVs and the quality of the Remastered DBZ will imporve the videos I make. I don't think I'll get it any time soon though I have other things to pay out for atm.

1.) I only buy anime when I can't find it for download in HQ English Dub AVI/MP4 and/or HQ Dual Audio MKV/OGM format, and/or if I can't rent it from Netflix, get a friend/family member to buy it for me, or borrow it from a friend.

2a.) The Season 8 Trailer is awesome, not to mention the superb visual quality when watching it in HD.

2b.) The trailer for Season 9 sucks ass (visual wise anyways, not to mention you can see the TV).

3.) I know of FREE DVD Ripping software.

I found a Free DVD rip so you dont have to worry about sending me it anymore.

Here's the info for anybody who wants it:
For those who don't know DVD rip is for copying DVD videos to your PC and making them into for example MP4 and/or AVI files. The Youtube video provided tutorial and a link (which was broken). Fortunatly I have found a working link which I posted below, I provides a direct link to the installer. I have also provided the tutorial video link.

Here's what I looks like:

Trust me It's as simple to use as it looks.

*PLEASE NOTE*
If you are unable to load the DVD into the ripping software load it with another application first eg. Real Player or Windows Media Player. Also Restart your PC before using this software.

Have fun Ripping.
