"But i'm worried about you coming to the party though..." she smile faded away as she played with a strand of hair with both hands. "Those people are mean and will make nasty remarks and well probably try to get you to come to them.. they would hurt you.. treat you horribly. I should know.." her face darkened of thoughts of her past. |

| He does as she instructs, getting the hang of it in a matter of minutes. soon, he is twirling her around like a pro. "Like this, Iris?" she notices that this is the first time he hasn't put anything in front of her name. |

| Iris and Rich slowly went into a huge room that was filled with women and men in nice formal clothes. In the middle of the room people danced around. Kon stopped and announced. "Lady Iris and Her boyfriend Sir Richard." Everyone stopped and bowed. "Happy Birthday Hime!!" (Hime means princess in Japanese) Iris smiled a beautiful fake smile. "Thank you so very much everyone!" After that they continued doing what they were. Iris sighed and walked more into the room. |

| As they walk, Richard leans in to Iris. "you didn't tell me that it was your birthday today." He whispers. "So, Happy Birthday, Iris." He then stands upright again, smiling at the room, taking everything in. he hoped he wouldn't have to fight during this event, but should anyone dishonor Iris on her special day, he wouldn't hesitate to defend her. |

| Watching the others on the dance floor, he feels that he can do it, and do it better than they. He smiles at Iris as they reach the floor. He takes her hand and twirls her onto the floor, winding up in the same dance step that the others are doing. |

| Iris giggled when he dipped her. She wasnt thinking about anything but him and dancing. They moved with the music and everyone seemed to stare. When the song ended a young woman around 20 with huge breasts came up. "I wanna have to next dance with your boyfriend Iris." She grabbed him and hanged on him. "You dont mind do you Iris? I played with you when you were a slave~" Iris was frozen. She wanted to grab her knife and slit the woman's throat or even scream that he was hers.. but she knew he wasnt hers. | Richard watches her leave. He knew something was wrong with her, and when he was done with this dance, he would have to go and talk with her. He turns to the girl in front of him and bows cordially at her. "May I know your name?" he asks her. |

| Iris was on her fifth cup of punch and was getting a bit dizzy. Her cheeks flushed and and her breathing heaved. There were about eight men around her chair and she was talking about a cat that she use to have. None of the men cared they were just staring at her with looks of longing. Her eyes watered. "I miss my kitty so much. i didnt want her to die." she sniffles and one of the men went to reach for her to use this to touch her. |

| He spots her with a group of men around her. He starts to walk toward her, and sees a man reaching out to her. Just before he was about to touch her, he grabs the mans wrist. "If you don't want to pull back a bloody stub, I suggest you walk away....now!" he growls. He could tell that she was drunk, and didn't want others to take advantage of her in this state. He turns to the other men and says "Do you want trouble as well?" She could tell he was being fiercely protective of her. "If you don't want to start anything, I suggest you all go back to your whores, pronto." |

| The men grumbled and said a few nasty things under their breath but they left. Iris smiled up at Rich but still had tears down her face so it looked weird. "Hey richie did you have fun dancing?" she got up and patted down his hair. "Did you kiss her? Of course you did.. anna always takes things away from me.. I hope you have fun" She walked out of the ball room and slipped. She started laughing then silently crying. "Please dont leave me Richy.." |

| He grabs her arm and spins her around to face him and plants his mouth on hers, kissing her for several long moments. when he breaks the kiss, he looks in her eyes so she can see his sincerity. "She tried to steal me. she told me that she could give me real sex and not dirty stuff. You want to know what I told her?" he says to her in low tones. "I told her that I only have sex with those that I love, and she wasn't one of them." his voice starts to get a little emotional. "I know I've only known you for one day," he whispers.
