| Heh, yeah, I'm sure there's probably a lot of manga but I personally can't stand manga so that doesn't work for me. Though a friend might also be interested in a manga, so in hindsight you can also list manga that involves a succubus too. An anime is still what is preferred though. The girl in Goshūshō-sama Ninomiya-kun sounds like a rather... peculiar succubus. She has a fear of men, and yet is still a succubus? What? Rosario + Vampire... I really, really don't want vampires in the anime so even if there is a succubus involved, I don't think this will do. |
| Knocking out all the crappy smut/borderline H manga, I guess the only one worth recommending would be Lilim Kiss... even though that isn't really that great. |

| Lilim Kiss seems interesting, but I wonder how seriously the problem of having a succubus girlfriend is taken in the manga and whether it's something that they're trying to get through together, or if it's just used for comedy effect and nothing else. I'd appreciate more input on this subject for whoever's read the manga. The succubus in Astarotte no Omocha is a 10 year-old, apparently... the plot synopsis in Wikipedia isn't really all that promising either. I don't think this is what I'd like. |

| Well, feel free to check out this list. It contains manga tagged with a succubus that aren't smut or hentai. And I see that Oretama is on that list, but the heroine of that story isn't the succubus. Oh, my bad... forgot to exclude yaoi manga. |

| Hmm... thanks for giving me that, this does provide interesting results. Most of these I wouldn't like and don't sound like good anime to me at all, but there were a couple that could be what I'm looking for. What stood out was: - Mark of the Succubus - What bugs me is that this is listed as 'horror' but otherwise looks interesting. The concept of a succubus having to feed on people to survive yet develops feelings for the one she has intended to feed on is something I'd find fascinating. I'm not sure if I'm reading the plot synopsis right, though, and it could be something different than what my impression is. - Hatsukoi Succubus - I mostly like the concept of this one but I don't know what they mean by "something unprecedented" happening. Could be something really, really bad and off-putting and then again it could be interesting. Anybody seen/know about any of those two? |

| Admittedly I haven't watched hentai so far so I don't know if it usually goes straight to sex with no plot at all or not. If there is an actual story to accompany it, a good one at that, I don't mind hentai. But I'm guessing that it's not that way most of the time. Or all the time. |

| Everything has already pretty much been listed. Hentai - Kyounyuu Fantasy. Best succubus ever. Male MC: "If you stop, I'll do whatever you want!" (or something along those lines) Succubus: "Alright then, cum a lot then die." *insert smile* Or you can read the manga, "Oretama" (translates into My Balls). The main female character is a succubus. Yes it is borderline-h manga. It's also hilarious. |
| Thanks for the suggestions everybody! From the looks of things, sadly there isn't an anime/manga similar to the concept that I'm looking for and one that isn't comedy, and is taken seriously. But one can hope that it can be made someday. |
