| Grace sat heavily and drank a cup of coffee. |

| "So you're sure you can keep the authorities of our backs? I'm just planning on shooting them once I find them after all." Masaru said still petting Kage. |

| "Of course I can," Grace smiled. "They'll look the other way." |

| "This just feels... too easy..." Masaru sighed. "I hope I'm just being paranoid." |

| "Wouldnt it be easier if the kid wrote their names?" Grace asked. |

| "I see, seems you've touched several death notes but you aren't positive on how they work." Masaru said. "One of the rules is that if you have a death note, you can't be killed by getting your name written down." |

| "How interesting," Grace said biting her lip. |

| "So how much do you really know about the Death Notes?" Masaru asked slightly curious. |

| "I only used them once or twice, so my knowledge is very limited," Grace said trying to think. |

| "I see... Well I memorized all the rules, so if your curious about anything you can ask." Masaru leaned back. Kage fell asleep curled up in the shape of a ball. |

| Grace relaxed and read a newspaper. |

| Masaru leaned back again, closing his eyes. |

| Grace sighed. "So...did you ever think of your type of girl?" |

| "Nope." Masaru said bluntly. "I told you, I'm crap at this stuff." |

| Grace sighed. "Any girls you thought were pretty...attractive...cute...date able?" she asked. |

| "That narrows it down to about, a lot." Masaru said calmly. "I see girls I think are attractive all the time. I'm still a guy after all even wearing a mask. Just as you probably see guys you find attractive as well." |

| Grace sighed. "Do you like intelligence? Do you like to be in control?" |

| Masaru sighed, deciding to just answer the questions bluntly. Otherwise it would never end. "Intelligent, yes. In control, yes in some situations, in others I don't care." |

| Grace groaned. "You're being difficult. You need a companion, Madaru. It's human nature; being alone too much is unhealthy." |

| Masaru looked at her with a scowl. "What do you mean I'm being difficult? I answered you didn't I?" He asked calmly. |

| "I'm trying to be kind and caring by finding you a girl. You're not even trying," Grace snapped. |

| "I'm answering you truthfully. What do you want me to do?" Masaru said starting to get annoyed. |

| Grace sighed and sank into her chair, trying to think of the perfect girl. |

| Masaru huffed and looked at Kage, starting to pet him. |
|
| She thought for what felt like hours upon end and even looked up all the other women employed at the Police Office. Once she was done, she handed the bulky portfolio to Masaru. "See if there's anything you deem 'date-worthy'." |

| Masaru looked at it in disbelief. "Exactly... how many did you look up?" He slowly picked it up and examined it before opening it. |

| "I went through all your coworkers, every employee of a company you may've seen and a few extra who I know are single," Grace said as she waited. |

| "You should use the word coworkers lightly. I've only ever worked with people when a crime was taking place, you're the first person I've actually worked on a case with." Masaru said flipping through it and looking at it. |

| "I'm not in there," Grace said as she sipped her coffee with a plate of cookies in the table from her "nervous cooking". |

| "I didn't expect you to be." Masaru said blankly, still flipping through it. It was going to take him a while to get through the entire thing. |

| Grace quietly nibbled on a cookie as she turned on the news. She turned it down to where it was barely audible and watched them talk about an "ongoing cold case" between the French police and American authorities. |

| "And what about you?" Masaru asked still looking through the portfolio. |
|
| "What do you mean?" Grace asked, looking away from the screen. |

| "You said being alone too much is unhealthy and I need a companion. What about you? If I remember correctly, we're both social outcasts." Masaru said not looking up from the portfolio. |

| "At least I have a type," Grace teased. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "But you still don't have a companion." Masaru teased back in an emotionless tone, continuing to flip through the portfolio. |

| "Then I guess that just puts us in the same boat, doesn't it?" Grace said as she bit into her cookie. |

| "I suppose so." Masaru said sighing, he had gotten about halfway through the portfolio. |
|
| Grace stared at the TV, bored with French politics. She turned it off and sipped her coffee while staring at the property outside. |

| Eventually, Masaru was almost finished with the portfolio. After taking a look at the last person in it, he set it down on the table and let out an exhausted sigh. |

| "Find something?" Grace asked as she looked over at him jovially. |

| "Maybe a few, however there's something you didn't think of." Masaru stood and went to get some water, coming back and sitting down after he got a bottle of it. |

| Grace paused and bit her lip. "What did I forget?" |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| Masaru sighed and pointed at his face. "I wear a mask subconsciously, remember? Even if I find some of the women 'date-worthy'. It won't change the fact that I'll wear that mask." He took a sip of water. "Unless that's extremely attractive and I'm just oblivious to it." |

| "Some women like the abraisively silent type," Grace smirked. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "Oh? I have my own type?" Masaru asked leaning back. "Life is complete." He said rolling his eyes. |

| "If your life was complete you'd still have a family. You'd also have friends and whatnot," Grave said staring at her coffee. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "There was nothing I could have done." Masaru said coldly. "And I just don't get along with most people, it's just how I am." He sighed. |

| "You get along with me," Grace said as she stretched out. |

| "I said most." Masaru took another sip of water. |
