 You have been searching high and low for Dreyfus, you are indebted to him. You had no idea how long was it since he had vanished, the only thing that matters is your desire to see him. You don't cared about the time and effort you'll take to finally see him for that one time. One day, after getting a clue from an old merchant, you traveled a town where Dreyfus was last seen. Keeping your fingers crossed that you might catches a glimpse of him, you wondered through the streets, asking around. But sadly none brings good news. You brought yourself a drink and settled down at one of the benches scattered around the town. The chilled liquid relives your patched throat, you closes your eyes to rest for a while. However your relaxation came to a halt when the commotion behind you waked you up. You frowned, and turned your back around.What you saw, shocked you so much that you'd almost dropped your drink. A man wearing a weird outfit was a target of teenagers for bullying. The stranger was been pushed around and his long hair was been pulled by them, he was close to breaking down. Usually you wouldn't involve yourself in such matters but this is an exception.The man looked like Dreyfus, in fact you had concluded that he is the man that you've been looking for. | Mei's eye widened as she realized who was here. Her heart raced and her breathing became rapid. She didn't know what to do, her leader was under attack. She did the first instinct, she dashed and within a fraction of a second she had her first up and about to punch the first guy. "Leave him alone!" she yelled right before her fist met his face. She felt her fist impact his face, yet she also felt a throbbing pain in her own fist. Mei was one of the fastest of all the constellations, but she was also one of the most fragile. |

The first guy squealed as the fist made its impact on his face. His nose is possibly broken and there was nothing he could do except to kneel on the floor, with both his hands covering his face and blood slips through his fingers. "What the hell are you doing?" Taunted another guy at the scene. You stared daggers at them, and they ran off while throwing profanities at you and Dreyfus. Dreyfus was dumbfounded, he stood there like a statue as he watches the scene goes before his eyes. The sound of the profanities snapped him back to reality. As the guys left, he turned and face Mei. "Thank you very much, I wouldn't know what to do without you." He smiled and bowed. |

| Mei calmed down and stabilized her breathing. She shook her hand which was throbbing. "Dreyfus..." she said staring at him with an eye of surprise. "I've finally found you..." She got closer to him to see if it was really him. |

Upon closer inspection, it is indeed the man that you've been looking for. But something is weird about him, perhaps it is his demeanor or the outfit that he is wearing. You recalled that he once mentioned that he hated the color white because it was so pure, not allowing any room for other colors.Looking at him now, he is wearing white from top to bottom. His hat, shirt, jacket, pants,shoes and socks were white. Dreyfus unconsciously steps back as you got closer. "Sorry but I'm afraid that I'm not the one you're looking for." He replied with an awkward smile. |

| "It's me... Me-..." Mei said before she cut herself off. "White...." she muttered. "White... you hate the color white..." she said staring at him. She stood in place, "What happened Dreyfus.... you're not the Dreyfus I knew!" Mei said getting flustered with anger. |

Dreyfus was startled to see the rapid changes between your demeanor. It was strange to hear his own name been called out by a stranger, you doesn't seems to be familiar to him. Seeing you getting agitated makes his heart race, as much as you had helped him before, he doesn't feel right to remain there any longer. "Err, I think you got me mixed up with somebody else. Erm, I suppose I really need to go now. Thanks for your help." Dreyfus smiled and turned around, making his exit. |

| "No...." Mei said breaking down on her knees. "No!" she said almost on the break of tears. The tears started to form, "I was sure it was you.... I was sure of it..." The tears started forming in her eyes. She wiped them with bitter disappointment. "No, it must be him" she said getting up and wiping the last of her tears. She decided to follow him. |

After following him down a couple of alleyways, he stopped in his tracks. Dreyfus knew he was been followed, it wasn't a positive feeling that he was glad. He couldn't shakes off the feeling that he know you from somewhere before. He leads you to an empty alleyway and stopped. He turned around and faced you. Between the both of you is two meters wide of space. He was shocked when he notices the redness of your nose and how swollen your eyes were. "Were you crying? Why are you crying?" Dreyfus asked, like an innocent child asking an adult a obvious question. He had not entirely understood the concept of emotions after such a long time had past. |

| 'What....happened to you....Dreyfus?" Mei asked approaching him slowly. "I've wandered the cosmos in search for you, I've spent over a hundred years just to see your face. All those years we spent together... wasted?" The tears started forming in her eyes. |

Dreyfus finds himself in a very sticky situation, on one hand there is this lady that seems to know him but he doesn't recognized her and secondly he felt like he shouldn't be rejecting her. "Err, but am I suppose to know you?" He asked as he slowly back steps a little, maintaining the distance. "Because I don't think I know you." |

| "I have no choice but to show you then do i?" Mei said sliding her finger across her head tracing that of the eye patch string that connected to her ear. "The only thing that you know about me that no one else knows.." she pulled the eye patch string over her ear, but kept it stretched so that the eye patch still covered her left eye. She came closer to him. "Now observe..." she said as she slowly, centimeter by centimeter, pulled the eye patch away from her eye. |

Dreyfus looked intently at what your eyes revealed, "Ah~ You can have a birthmark there? I didn't know it was possible." He was confused, "And am I supposed to be feeling surprised? Well I am if that's what you're hoping for. But I have no idea exactly what are you trying to show here, erm Miss." |

| Mei pulled the eye patch off revealing, not a red eye, but a green eye instead. Her left eye was indeed green in contrast to her right red one. Her green eye contained a birthmark, but not just any birthmark. It was the symbol of her vice leadership, and the true Dreyfus was the only one that knew who she was. "You don't remember do you?" she said actually getting angry now. |

Dreyfus felt a sinking sensation in his head, his face whitens at the sudden arises of pain. His pupils dilated as the pain intensify, he covers his head and moved back subconsciously. "Sorry but I have... no idea who you are." He murmured to you. |

| "So that's it isn't it?" Mei said approaching him despite his pain. "You're not Dreyfus..." she said louder. "Dreyfus knows me and I know him..." she said quietly as she began to feel the pain also. Her head started spinning as she gripped it with one hand and leaning on the wall with another. |

"I am Dreyfus, am I not?" He moaned in pain as he gets away from you. "You just appeared out of the blue and claimed that I am supposed to know you when I don't. So what's that supposed to mean? " Dreyfus groaned and he leaned his back against the alleyway's wall for support. The pain is so intensive that he had to close his eyes to stabilize himself. |

| "The real Dreyfus would know me." Mei said still leaning on the wall. "But it feels as if you are the real Dreyfus to me..." she said dropping to her knees. The pain was getting stronger, but she doesn't know why. She looked up at him, "My eye says different..." she said forming a V shape with her index and middle finger. She pulled her hand onto her face, with her palm touching her cheek and the V shape circling around her green eye. |

"As far as I know I am the real Dreyfus," He paused and whispered, "at least that's what I've been told." "So what is your eye telling you then?" Dreyfus leaned back and let his head rest on the cold concrete wall behind him, half hoping that it would ease his pain a little. |

| "I see the aura of the leader in you" Mei said. When her left eye is revealed, all her sight goes grey to accommodate the night and heat vision. But there was a secret power that it possessed. It possessed the ability to single out leaders of constellations. In her grey vision, the only color that is flowing around is from Dreyfus, which is a clear indication that he is the leader. It never lies. |

Dreyfus coughed and looked towards you, "Aura of leader? You've got to be kidding me, I'm not of leader material. It is such a troublesome job." He winced in pain as another wave swept through him, threatening to send him into the darkness. |

| "But you are..." Mei said with the pain still ringing in her head. "It doesn't lie.." She stood up slowly. "It never lies" she said widening her left eye to show the full birthmark. |

"There's a first for everything, so maybe I'm the first mistake." Dreyfus offered. Resting his forehead against his palm, his breath was getting less erratic and his heartbeats are getting back to normal. But there is still a throbbing pain at the back of his head. "I am not the Dreyfus you know, having the same name is just by chance." He tried to reason with you. |

| "It...never...lies" Mei said with quiet disbelief as she turned away from him. She slowly walked away from him. "It never lies" she said over and over again as she stopped walking a bit away from him. She just stood there in silence. |

"Ermm are you upset or something?" Dreyfus try to catch up with you, not focusing on the pain. "I'm sorry, this Dreyfus must be one lucky guy to have a pretty lady so concern about him." He smiled at you, his shadows were cast behind him. |

| Mei didn't accept his compliment. She just stared int front of her with her back against him. She pulled her eye patch back over her left eye. She turned and looked to him. "The eye never lies." she said quietly. "If you claim you are not the the Dreyfus I know, then you must have killed him..." Mei said menacingly. |

"I've never skilled anyone since I woke up, there is no way that will happen." Dreyfus shivers subconsciously under your intense stares. "I just don't know about it, really. What can I do to prove it?" |

| 'Woke... up?" Mei said releasing her tension. She calmed down a bit, "What do you mean by wake up?" she asked. She was exploring the possibility that an event might have caused Dreyfus to become an amnesiac only remember his name, that's why he does not remember her. |

"Nothing, I didn't mean anything whatsoever." Dreyfus gave an awkward laugh and puts his hands out. "I just meant that since.." He paused to think, "... since I've been born, yup that's that." |

| Mei knew he was hiding something. But what? There was something off about this. "Nothing? Are you sure?" Mei asked getting suspicious. "Are you sure you're not hiding anything?" |

Dreyfus looked away before returning his eye contact, "Well I do have some secrets here and there that I don't share with anyone so I suppose that is hiding something? But I'm sure you have your own fair share of secrets as well, do you not?" He questions. |

| "But I've shown you my greatest..." Mei said grinning playfully as her fingers rubber her eye patch lightly. "I want you to tell me about what happened when you "woke up" she said with a creepy stare now. |

"Oh when I woke up, I'll go to the bathroom and brushes my teeth and washes my face. Then I'll go swimming and then after that will be breakfast. Sufficient?" Dreyfus decided to play dumb, well he didn't know that he would have a slip of his words, and now he's in trouble. |

| "That's not what I meant..." Mei said with an empty stare. She was getting closer and closer to him. "Something happened to you.... and I want to know what..." her voice was quiet and cold. "Please? The agony of the past two hundred years is eating me from the inside." |

Dreyfus finds himself slowly been lead to a dead-end, he is an old man, yes maybe not physically but mentally he is. "I think that had to do with my privacy correct? So I don't see any obligation to answer it. Some secrets are meant to be kept." |

| "Privacy or not, at that same token, some secrets must be told...." Mei said standing still. "I told you mine.... so it's obligatory that you tell me yours..." She wasn't laughing. There was a sinister aura that she felt, she knew it from the start. She had a feeling that this was too good to be true. |

"Ah huh, and if I refuses to comply?" Dreyfus challenges. His headaches are less intensive then before but the young lady is been demanding. "And why should you care?" |

| "Then.." Mei said lowering her eyes. "Nothing..." She turned around. "Why I should care... is because..." her voice started breaking down. "Because Dreyfus is the key to my past.." she said with a tear rolling down her cheek. |

"And remembrance of things past is not necessarily the remembrance of things as they were." Dreyfus pointed it out, a little disappointed. "So I see, you just wanted to know your own past huh? So you don't care about how others felt then. You have no idea what I went through before, I can't believed how selfish you are. You! Ahh!" He yelled and punches the wall, ignoring the throbbing pain his nerves are sending him. |

| "If I am selfish.. then so be it!" Mei said. "I can't care about how others felt because I don't know what they felt..." she said quietly with tears still rolling down her eye. "How could I know...if I don't even know myself..." her voice was cold again. |

"And then what? At first it sounded like this Dreyfus guy is very important to you, but now? I am guessing he is nothing but a pawn for you to advance huh. Then I am sorry to say that I am not the guy you're looking for. And even if you are, right now I don't give a damn anymore." Dreyfus was yelling and breathing heavily, all these feelings and emotions are so foreign to him. He had no idea why it bothers him so much, and why he is losing his self-control. |

| "He was..." Mei said still in tears. "He was... the only person I cared about..." she was sobbing. "My advance ended a long time ago..." Mei snapped. "But if my advance ended a long time ago... then why am I still living?" she said looking at her own hands. She couldn't handle the influx of mixed emotions. She gripped her head again, she was going mentally unstable. |

"No he doesn't appear to be, so what have you been looking for? You doesn't care about him and I am certain you don't care about me either. Because your actions are not reflecting your concern. No wonder he wants to disappear, because I know that I would. And I don't give a damn why you are still living, I am wondering myself too." He growled in frustration, this is getting nowhere. Dreyfus loathes this negative feeling, but it felt refreshing. |

| "I don't... deserve to live?" Mei said looking at him. "He wants to... disappear?" she was trembling. "Does he hate me that much?" she said still sobbing. Her breathing became more rapid, her heart was racing. "That can't be can it? He even told me....I was like a daughter to him..." |

"Was this... false hope?" she asked herself. "Was all this a lie? Is my existence pointless? What good am I as Vice-Leader... If I can't even find the leader!" she scorned herself getting more angry. |
