Romance/comedy anime with delinquent main

Hello guys,

I've just finished GTO and I really liked it. Now I am looking for some romance/comedy anime with delinquent or strong personality male lead. I have used the recommendations on GTO page, but most of the anime recommended don't have romance, so I'll need you guys to help. Clannad definitely. Clannad can be described as a journey - it's an intense romantic drama with its fluffy, lighthearted and comedic moments. A definite must-watch.

Thanks guys for those recommendations. Although I've watched Clannad, I didn't watch After story yet, so I'll go ahead and finish it. I'll also try out midori no hibi. Well ideally if some company does pick up GTO and continue the anime I would be soo happy.

Seconding Midori no Hibi, even if I am only halfway through .
If you liked GTO so much pick up the Shonan Junai Gumi and if you don't mind female lead and "older" art, go for Gokusen. There's Slam Dunk if you like basket, and again old art but that anime is great.
It might not be what you're looking for but Cromartie High School is good as well.

You should definitely watch After Story. The Clannad experience isn't complete without it. Although if you're looking for comedy, there's not much of it in After Story. In addition, Tomoya's no longer a delinquent.

Thanks again for your recommendations. I'll check out slam dunk and see if I like it. Ohh and I'll also watch the prequel to GTO as well...and will finish midori no hibi. I don't like shows with female leads, but might have a look at gokusen

I watched GTO a while back and since you have commented I haven't seen any updates...it was such a great anime as well they should continue it -_- at the moment I am still looking for romance anime but I haven't found any that are at least close to Sukitte Ii na yo which was a great anime and another one i think it was called kaichou wa maid sama(i think i spelt that wrong)
