| "I realize that Ms. Hjiri" said Jack courteously "I was merelay stating that you tend t serve so loyaly and faithfully towards the Queen that you could be an extention of her body...it was a compliment, I assure you" said Jack Hel winking. His two-toned eyes were litup in the dark alley, his right one a pale ghostly silver and his right a rustic aged bronze... it gave him both a sort of ancient and yet ethereal aura about him. His voice however was a mix of harmonic tones of both alto and bass, a seductive and refined voice of an aristocrat well versed in all manners of speechcraft. His breath and scent even gave subtle tones of both sweetness and a hint of mint... he was a natrual born lady killer and predator. He smiled and held outb his hand saying said "C'mon, I'll get you back to your Lady in waiting... I darsay she'd want you back safely" concern was in his eyes. If he was faking... he was doing a damn good job at it. But Jack tended to be wild card. He fought both tooth and nail, and manipulated his way to the Beta position... but he has yet to attempt to reach higher than that. So in short... she could trust him. |

| Hijiri was hesitant. She didn't like the idea of relying on others. But, she hated to admit, it was doubtful she would get back to her Mistress in her current condition. Especially if she met opposition on the way. Hijiri was in no condition to fight off pursurers. "Very well. Let us be off" ............................................................................................. It took some time, but eventually Marik managed to find the house. The boy was right. There was an immensely strong barrier surrounding it. He highly doubted he could break it. Instead, He'll just have to try and get their attention. | August popped his head out of the front window. "..MARIK?! OF MARCH?!" he yelled. "It's been so long!" he said, running downstairs and out the front door in only a pair of boxers. "Demera has been wounded and I've been taking care of her. Do you mind finding Norton for me? I have some errands to run. I'd greatly appreciate it." August runs back upstairs to Demera. "That was March, can you believe it?! More and more start to pop up. I told him to go look for Norton. I'm worried about him and he seems weird." |

| Jack nodded and took her hand, he kissed it smiled and started walking bakwards into the shadows taking her with him... The last thing anyone who was could've been watching would have seen his pearly white smile in the darkness just as it vanished completely.... Later else where in the city, They step out of the shadows again in another alley and he says "We're few dozen blocks away now... is the Queen near?" |

"Yes" Hijiri says back, looking over the sea of houses in front of her. She pinpointed the right one instantly, and showed the it to Jack. "This way" ....................................................................................................... Zsazsa was lying, resting, on one of the old beds in this abandoned home. A rat scurried across the floor, moving from one hole to another. She sensed Hijiri approaching, and sat up. As if one cue, he assitant appeared, accompanied by another. |

| Demera smiles happily and wide,as they reach the marketplace. She stops to make a deal for tomatoes,apples,meats,oranges and others,ending up with August having his arms full of bags. Walking and looking around,she spots something she was looking all over for : A condiment shop! |

The lady winks at D,who giggles. "Thank you very much dear lady,but you must get paid." D says,giving the lady a shinny coin,and turning around to leave. |

| Hijiri had started to tend to her wound, prompted up against a wall. She had ripped apart one of the curtains, fashioning a makeshift sling to rest her broken arm. She didn't listen to the conversation going on in front of her. Whatever her Mistress's answer was, Hijiri was a tool. A tool trained since birth to be used and thrown away. Whether her Mistress actually cared for her safety or not didn't concern her. "No, it was the right choice" comments Zsazsa, turning away. |

After a night of hell, I'm glad to be able to get it off my mind with you and this amazing day! It really is weird how the weather is. It's usually sand, sand and more sand in the air. SOMETIMES some rain, and only over the city." |

| Demera smiles,making herself comfortable on his shoulder,dozing off aswell. Truth was,she remembered where Miranda was:Searching for the angel empress. And she was so worried since last night when Mira told her,that she barely slept. |

| August continued to sleep, a finger or two twitching once and awhile. What? Where.. no He opened his eyes, shaking. Why again, he wondered. |

| As Demera felt August's shiver,she quickly wakes up."What's wrong,Aaron?" she asks,concern in her eyes and voice,as the suns start to set down. |

| "What? Oh it's nothing, I'm just a little cold now that it's getting dark out. Hey, we should go back home, make dinner. I'll prepare that bath for you," he told her. August gets up and starts walking back. |
