Help: Reading the manga in place of the anime fillers

My little brother just finished watching the anime through episode 63 and I advised him against watching all the fillers since he'd like to read the manga anyway so I'm wondering which volume for him to begin with. In other words if episode 64 of the anime were to be non-filler which book would that take place in?

Well, the filler episodes fill up the gap between the end of Soul Society and the beginning of the Vizard/Arrancar arc, so he'll want to start at volume 21. Hope that helps! :)

Thanks. That helped a lot. I just got him volume 21 and 22 so that saved me a lot of searching.
