Vis Kei is the faggy dress trend in throughout Japan in the last 5-10 years. Makeup, stupid hair and clothes, stuff like that. Basically like "emo" but more flamboyant i guess.

Emo and Goth people ARE stupid jpem. You're forgetting that.

Visual Kei is emo+David Bowie. Thus, lots of make-up, gloomy music, and you can't tell if they're dudes or dudettes.
I think X Japan, Luna Sea and Buck-Tick were the pioneers of Visual Kei, or made it popular, back in the early 90's.

Kei can be a lot of things. There's like Shibuya Kei, Harajuku Kei, Osaka Kei etc. Kei means style after all. I think. Or fashion. Whatever.
