what happened to the dog??

I'm on chapter 191 and I'm really curious what happened to the dog?? is it possible that gantz can make exception and exclude someone from the game? or did I missed something and the dog is dead?

this is probably late. but the dog got steped on. It was really quick. Just one tiny section on one page.
