| Ok... after some thinking, I've decided to change the size of the banner to 150x110 that way, it looks something like this:  there are several reasons as to why i've decided to change the size: 1) Because ALL the other claim a "_____" is using the 350x60 banner size, and ours just doesn't stick out. I don't know about you, but i've mistakened a few "claim an anime" banners for "claim an anime character" banners. i mean, now theres "claim a manga ka", "claim a voice actor", and "claim a video game" and you just can't tell the difference between all the banners. 2) this size fits right into someone's sig and makes it more flexible so it doesn't exceed the signature size limit. that way, mods won't have to keep PMing people about their signatures. 3) With this small size, you don't really need to make it look very flashy. it doesn't take as long to make the banner if they're smaller and simpler 4) The 360x50 size is also used for awards. You tend to get mixed up as to whether it's an award or if it's a claim banner or what o.o? before making this the "official" size, i wanted to get some feed back from you guys i know most people are used to the uniform "350x60" banner size for claim once this becomes the official size for claim an anime character, i'm going to create a new thread for those who want their banners re-done so it's the new size i mean, people can keep the old 350x60 banner size if they want and i can take care of all the requests for the new sizes. so tell me what you guys think...? admins: i will NOT require you to make your banners 150x110. if you want to continue to make your banners 350x60, it's fine by me :D i'm not gonna be extremely picky about this or anything. |

| thanks :D and i actually like using the actual MAL logo on the banner  all you gotta do is paste as a new layer -> overlay or make it a bit transparent it's really fast to make too. i mean, we get so many requests in one week that we can't possibly keep up if we spend 10-20 minutes on each banner |
| Yeah, fu|k all the other (recent) claim ideas, they just keep ripping the idea and I feel like posting the link from my topic about this everywhere. >.< I like the fact that awards have that size though, they can be placed nicely together this way like on my profile imho. But this looks good too. :) |

| Great idea Mel. I have no problem making the new banner size when I get back in full swing. I suppose I'll just ask the claimers in the future which they'd prefer. |
