Favourite SF author: ASIMOV !! His books are just amazing.

And of course like any other SF fan I can mention Frank Herber and the Strugatki brothers.

Some relatives passed down some really old children's versions of the classics by authors like H.G. Wells and Jules Verne. These probably got me started in scifi.

Then I got into K.A. Applegate's Animorphs series. They were a childhood favorite.

I read Isaac Asimov's I, Robot when the movie came out. (And the movie, IMO, was just another cliched robot uprising). That introduced me to Asimov. I've read his Robot and Foundation series as well as a bunch of the standalones Nemesis, the Gods Themselves. Nightfall is still an exciting favorite for me.

Then I read Michael Crichton, starting with Jurassic Park (Yes, because of the movies). His books are awesome, they read almost like action-packed films.

I've also read some Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clarke, and other various novels.
John Varley's Gaia Trilogy
Mark Geston's Lords of the Starship
Richard Paul Russo's Ship of Fools
Brain Aldiss's Hothouse

Right now I'm into Larry Niven. Especially his Known Space stories.

I really love Asimov's Foundation series, but my favourite book from him is The End of Eternity, maybe because that was the only Asimov book, where I could decide whether I liked the end or not (a definite yes). I am looking forward to read his other books.

The last sf book I read was The Long Earth by Terry Pratchett and Steven Baxter, it was quite enjoyable, I can recommend it.

Hi! I am BunicuMarin a fan of anime, manga, and light novels. I am a writer looking to build a little community around my novel. I saw this club is made by book lovers so I thought that maybe you would like to at least check out my novel. If a combination of Classroom of the elite and a futuristic battle tournament sounds interesting, I would really appreciate it if you would check it out: https://www.voyce.me/series/weakest-gladiator-1
Each chapter comes with an illustration as well.
If you don't want to it's fine. Let's be friends anyway!
