| I was trying to think of isekai I have watched where the protag was isekaied into the demon army. Took me a minute or so to remember "So I'm a Spider". Can't think of any others off the top of my head, so this isn't exactly a well worn trope. Although I guess a demon trying to woo a human is, or vice versa. Not exactly a strong first episode, but not horrible either. It's got Kana Hanazawa, so that's definitely in it's favor. The scary mom could be interesting, but I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see much of her. |

I was trying to think of isekai I have watched where the protag was isekaied into the demon army. Took me a minute or so to remember "So I'm a Spider". Can't think of any others off the top of my head, so this isn't exactly a well worn trope. Although I guess a demon trying to woo a human is, or vice versa.
Not exactly a strong first episode, but not horrible either. It's got Kana Hanazawa, so that's definitely in it's favor. The scary mom could be interesting, but I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see much of her.

I kind of don't count that since the Demon King was actually a good guy instead of trying to destroy other races. There are few of them that are fantasy based, but not necessarily isekai, where the protag is trying to help the Demon Lord, but most of those the Demon Lord isn't really evil. |
| The art and animation aren't so great, but overall the show meets my standards. I'm a little disappointed that the demons were defeated in the first episode, and I hope that we'll be seeing demons trying to hang out with Yoki in the future. |

| Hunh! From title I was expecting this to be absolute trash, but I was pleasantly surprised! It's nothing great but it's fun, and I already like the leads. Production values are nothing special but for a show like this they don't need to be. I'm in for now! |
| It has the exact vibe I was expecting, based on the trailer. It's silly, ridiculous, adorable, and fun. To heck with the Isekai aspect, or any story stuff it will have-- All I want is silly fun stuff. Nitpick: It probably has the worst Anime cleavage I've seen in a long while, if not ever. xD |
