7.5/10, but it would be even more interesting if it doesn't go too far back in time. Until the 70's is ok for me, even better if during the next two decades.

Autistic sickly teenager completely unable to understand love and romance is considered the next big basketball player of his nation despite standing at 5'6'' (169 cm) only, is forced to retire at just 18 years old for serious health concerns, and rebuilds his life as a manga writer with support of his much older brother and his best friend (also a promising basketball player, but unlike the main character, extrovert and successful at relationships)

One day magic suddenly becomes real and some individuals gain supernatural powers. Turns out that in the past, the earth was disconnected from the rest of the larger universe.

The basic structure of the universe is that all planets have a rudimentary level of consciousness and planets can use their power (mana) to hide themselves using barriers which make them undetectable and disconnect them from the rest of the universe.
Usually planets use the barriers described above while they are young and only do it for a small period of time while the living beings inhabiting it are weak. While the barrier is in place, the planets distribute some of their energy to make the living beings inhabiting it stronger so that they can protect the planet from external danger. All individuals on normal planets have some supernatural powers (such as power over some element [fire, metal etc.] or concept [sleep, death etc.] which can be cultivated further using omnipresent mana) but normally each planet only has a few top-tier existences (~7 or 8 individuals per planet. Can be named rulers, monarchs, guardians etc.).

The planet Earth made a mistake by making such a strong barrier that it was completely disconnected from the larger universe and mana for a very long period of time. Because it spent too much energy on the barrier, it couldn't make all of the beings living on it stronger. So when the barrier of the planet Earth eventually breaks down, it uses all of the remaining energy that would have normally been used for the billions of individuals inhabiting it, and invests all of it into its Monarchs (~7 or 8 people). These Monarchs become the most OP individuals in the universe. Even among the guardians most of Earth's energy goes to one individual in particular who of course happens to be the MC. The concept that the MC controls can be something very abstract like controlling the power of Nothingness or Space-time (he can be called something im14andthisiscool like the 'Monarch of Nothing', Monarch of Time etc.).

The Monarchs are the main characters for the show. They can be from all over the world. The mc has to be a disaffected lonely man for maximum self-inserting potential. The rest of the guardians could be anything like politicians, K-pop idols, martial artists etc.

The outside universe has intergalactic empires, aristocracy, pirates, rebels etc.
The enemy that even all of these people have to unite against could be something like outer gods who don't belong to the universe and use some different kind of energy.

The main story involves the MC and other main characters i.e. the Monarchs of Earth pretending that Earth is an extremely strong planet (using their own unusually strong individual power) in front of their enemies while hiding the fact that most of Earth's population is weak and finding ways to make planet Earth stronger as a whole. As the story goes on Earth becomes one of the leaders in the universe. Along the way, the MC finds love (or loves if you want it to be a harem story with MC collecting women like pokemon).
At the end everyone fights the outer gods.

6+/10, even if i probably wouldn't watch because it isn't my cup of tea

teenagers living in the 80's, wanting to create their own rock bands (and attending concerts of upcoming acts before they became international superstars) and exchanging members between each other depending on necessities (someone is still in high school, someone is already working, someone older is forced by law to serve one year of military service...)

(basically, i'm posting all my failed past fanfiction attempts here, the previous post plot is a direct sequel of this one in the same timeline but starting to take place between 2003 and 2004...)

7/10 I think it might become an elitist anime

A classroom of cute girls playing chess but for some mysterious reason they start a magical battle royale tournament arc against other classes where the girls are the chess pieces and they have cool armors as the pieces they represent

And as this loops around me
I feel the worlds pulse again.

And walls lean in to listen
As my lungs fill to the brim with life.

I can speak in the tongue of the damned.

6/10, though I wouldn’t see myself watching it

(Ok here’s a story I’m coming up with and would like to make an animated series someday, any feedback is appreciated)

In an alternate universe in 1300s Japan where things are much more peaceful, a country is overtaken by a man who wants things to only be in his power, causing the place to become a hellhole. One thing he wants is to challenge a legendary samurai who disappeared two years prior, as he wants to see his true strength and see if he really is as powerful as he says (I swear this isn’t Rurouni Kenshin). He sends a group of people to find him and upon research, learns he has a daughter. After tracking her down, she hides out in a forest near a small village and, to make sure they get her, end up blowing the forest up with a grenade. A boy after going fishing with his friends tries to help out out the fire, and finds the girl. Hes able to rescue her before she dies but when she wakes up, her memory is lost and she doesn’t remember anything, including her own name.

As the boy tries to investigate, he finds the group that bombed the forest, and learns everything after spying on them. He returns home and tells her everything, with her deciding it would be best to find her father and warn him about everything, as well as challenging the leader to see what he truly wants. He decides to go with her, and as the series goes own, they discover more things about themselves as they grow up and figure out what they want to do with their lives more, and how the girl is forced to deal with a load of pressure and trauma on her as well as loneliness, as they try to truly find happiness

^^5/10 Probably will make money but needs more elaboration as this is a saturated market.

^7/10 Again, needs more elaboration, such as more about the girl's character arc, but a lot of the things I like have that premise, e.g. if she turns out like Yuna from Final Fantasy X and starts to develop her own path in life.

Horror show where various women are isekai'd into a reality TV show reminiscent of The Bachelor, where they all turn into anime girls slotted into harem archetypes and the "winner" has to declare her love to the pervy otaku guy running the show. If you've seen Black Mirror's USS Callister, it's like that, but with anime tropes instead of Star Trek. Although these women are pitted against each other in various otaku-pandering contests, they find a way to work together and hopefully beat that pervy otaku at his own game.

Sounds pretty meta but may come off as cheesy if executed poorly

Although not too original but an Umamusume based off of this horse 's history and the said Umamusume's personality is reminiscent of Maomao from Kusuriya

6,5/10, i read the Equinox history but to be honest i haven't seen Kusuriya at least for now

oh, well, i made a actual poorly drawn picture for this one:

Main male character is a 30-something loner with poor social skills that never even peaked in high school, stuck in a depressing restaurant job, failed basketball player as a teen that still stayed loyal to the same team with different other roles after retiring. One day he casually reads local newspapers and his memories are brutally brought back to his early 20's when at a multi-sports valley summer festival, while attending with his basketball friends, he met a young woman that was the star student of her karate dojo and led the kata performances of her girls group, leaving him speechless and with the biggest crush of his existence. Now she works as a co-sensei for the same dojo with the same success of her personal career, he discovers a unexpected mutual contact between the customers of the restaurant he works for (and she is willing to support him since they knew each other since junior high), builds up some courage into a meeting attempt with her but giving for granted she is completely settled for life with a significant other or even husband and kids, but finds out she actually isn't. Both actually talk to each other for the very first time at a arranged pub night out, he somehow manages to not completely make a fool out of himself, finds out some minor common background with her, and she doesn't look down on him as long as he stays in "his" place. Here starts a journey of attending concerts, going to arcades, anime conventions, and watching events of each other's sport of interest, and he resists the temptation of falling in love with her, correctly thinking she's way out of his league while still staying respectful to him, but still finding life is worth living again and not being afraid of "losing" her when she will find out her significant other sooner or later.

8 sounds like an interesting slice of life drama

A group forum posters get sent into a mysterious world and they notice they have life gauges on them. The mysterious figure tells them something horrible will happen if a person's life gauge reaches 0. The figure explains to them that the type of game they have to play is mahjong, the player who comes in 1st and 2nd place will not get penalized, 3rd/4th placers penalty depends on the gap between 1/2nd place and the life gauge will drop accordingly. The group of forum posters decided to pursue the mysterious figure while trying to have few sacrifices as possible.

7+/10, asking myself if i probably saw something similar recently on Witch Watch and still asking since Gintama episode 49 how Mahjong is also a game for multiple players. Also, thank you for not laughing at me for my previous post since first part is obviously real life until "same success of her personal career" and 30-something loner is me.

A dozen of teenagers from a small town at the very end of the 90's bond over a extremely successful kart racing videogame and organize wild parties playing between each other at turns of 4. Almost two decades later, a acclaimed remake / remaster of the same title is released and the same people, now adults, one by one return connecting with each other over it, with the plot divided between the gameplay results and the very different life outcomes of the main characters often making full gatherings impossible.

Yawn/10

A reverse isekai where the hero of a fantasy world dies and gets reincarnated as a mediocre author for a shitty isekai light novel/anime. He has a reality check when he tries to use his own grandiose epic adventures of his previous life as the plotline for his serialization, but then it flops in sales and ratings.

And as this loops around me
I feel the worlds pulse again.

Could be interesting.

7/10

An action Shonen show where everyone in the world has powers but 99% of the people have useful powers (like fire or telekinesis), and 1% have useless powers (like being able to summon pencils or your own arms detaching) but when a meteor hits earth, the roles are reversed and the people with the most useless powers are now the strongest which could create some pretty cool anime fight choreography or also be a funny gag show. The show could also follow someone who once had a strong power but is now weak and has to deal with the reality that he's losing to people whose power is just pencils.

7,5/10 if the funny bits aren't too much put on the side

(maybe someday i will make a poorly drawn fanart for this too)

A 17 years old boy, midway through high school with poor grades, a poor relationship with his parents, extremely unpopular and with very few loyal friends, completely undecided about making choices for his future as a adult, goes alone in a stranded place and shouts at the sky asking in despair for a impossible chance to start all over again by turning back at least at the end of elementary school. After going to sleep, his request has been listened... in dreams form, every night, returning at the beginning of junior high... but as a girl, unaware at the beginning of being "controlled" in her actions by a sleeping person. Soon noticing he's basically living a new life while sleeping since his dreams last for the full resting hours and, despite some minor timeskips, always stay in chronological order, the main character is glad to take different paths (studying career, starting some hobbies earlier and sports) with his girl counterpart and as a result he soon tries to sleep as long as he can resorting to pills and medicines at the cost of investing in it most of his free time except for school and mandatory tasks... until the girl, somehow, discovers the truth in a dream she had on her own, is shocked, but after a sudden direct confrontation with the main character himself appeared in his own dream, she reluctantly goes on with her actually successful "life" at one condition: he must prove himself capable of making constructive changes in his actual existence, or her entire life into a dream will completely disappear and won't ever return as soon as her timeline reaches the main character's present day.

5/10. It's like a cute romance where the girl helps a hopeless guy become better. But it loses the entire romance aspect because the girl is himself and in a dream, so he'll never end up with her.
Or the girl is real and he's just living the girl's life through her eyes? Then it's kinda like a washed down Your Name because they don't get to swap

Standard isekai plot, making friends, fighting bad guys, building an awesome kingdom, but second half he gets assassinated and reincarnates on the enemy side. Finds out the ugly truth of the world and ends up having to kill all his old overpowered friends in order to save everyone and end the needless bloodshed.

6/10, not into standard isekai plots but there's something more this time.

("washed down Your Name" made me laugh in good taste, watched it years ago, it was fine, and actually considered someone would have noticed similarities after i described the plot. No romance was intended either, just a real life boy and imaginary girl making a deal to both survive. No problem / hard feelings, it's a relief it wasn't panned too hard)

Successful woman in her late 20s, famous since she was a young kid for multiple talents including acting and singing but with on / off drug addiction problems since her teen years, relapses after years of sobriety just before starting to record her fourth studio album supposed to end her ongoing contract deal with her current music label. Even after a stint in rehab one month after falling off the wagon that doesn't stick for longer than another month, she manages to never miss recording sessions, stay focused as much as possible and hide her relapse almost to everyone involved. At the beginning of the following year, against all odds, her new album soon becomes the biggest acclaimed success not just of her music career but of the 21st century in general, including selling physical copies to the same level of old decades like the 80's or 90's. Shocked herself by all these results, she starts a tour around the world, not too long because it wasn't planned beforehand it would have managed to sustain itself for economical reasons, manages to always put a great performance on stage, but still feels obviously miserable for her drug addiction still out of control and becoming more and more noticeable to everyone at promotional events. At the end of the tour, she is expected to negotiate for a new contract deal with the same label or different ones, but is also considering to entirely leaving the show business and retiring from public life, returning to the small town she lived in as a teen in the late 90's / early 2000's, in a desperate attempt to get rid of her demons. Her destiny is left up to interpretation for the audience.

(once again, same universe of my first two posts in this thread, and this plot starts taking place in late 2017 since that's when i was thinking the most about it)
