https://youtu.be/9L0BbczZAvs?si=k3FJalK_pzHKmE3f The animation seems stuck but the design is good, there will probably be a few decent action scenes and the soundtrack seems good. Finally, I don't know anything about the anime but judging by pv 2 the production seems to be advanced because of the amount of scenes. |

The core staff is from Studio Xebec (merged into Studio Sunrise) but the rest seem to be from Sunrise employees. I think this will be consistent all the way through, the animation looked really good to me. both of the studios are very experienced, they did Code Geass & Gintama. It's weird to see them animating isekai |

@hypexleaks So the problem is the direction...? Because there are several action scenes where the animation is stuck and other scenes where they put lines in the corners of the screen to give the sensation of movement. For me, apart from the story, design and soundtrack, this anime seems bad, although it has one or two good scenes. |

@Desmascarado to be honest i'm not sure, but it's also just a trailer. we aren't going to see every sakuga well animated scene in a trailer, but in pv 1 there are so many well animated scenes. the storyboards are well done judging from both pv, i think it's too early to judge. it should already be a really good sign that there are zero cgi monsters the director has decades of experience, so i'm trusting the adaption, and studio sunrise has a lot of good animators |

@hypexleaks the director being extremely experienced and consequently having many contacts in addition to being an isekai made by Sunrise was the reason I found the animation mediocre but maybe it's more a choice of setting for the anime with very detailed designs and a 90s anime feel. |

@Desmascarado It seems to be true, that is, this anime will have an average or good production "designs well above average" but it will remain constant. I guess it will have more or less three scenes above average judging by pv 2 but I could be totally wrong and they hid the best scenes. |

@Desmascarado that's what trailers usually do tho bro, not even for shield hero season 3 did they show any moments from the emperor dragon fight or the best animated scenes from the first 2 episodes in the trailers. i'd stay optimistic, I don't think this will be average production wise at all. but source material wise... eh, it's good for a 1 season isekai. |

Judging by pv 2 the production seems similar to the eminence in Shadows it's not bad but it's not great either regarding the story if it's a little similar to the eminence in Shadows it will be worth it. |

@Desmascarado closest comparison i can make to the story is very similar to failure frame / arifureta |
