Synopsis

Two years ago, the death of Naoto Watari's parents left him as the sole caretaker for his younger sister Suzushiro "Suzu" Watari and forced him to move in with their aunt. So devoted is he to Suzu that he refuses to join clubs or even hang out with anyone, earning him snide comments and the title of "siscon" at his new school. But as long as Suzu is safe and happy, Naoto does not care what everyone else says.

However, his sneering classmates may turn out to be the least of his worries. The sudden transfer of a girl named Satsuki Tachibana brings back traumatic memories from his past—a past she had a hand in making so unpleasant. Nasty secrets, unknown to Naoto, begin to surface with her arrival, threatening his new life.

Huhhh, seems like a bunch of anime cliches thrown together. Dead parents, Siscon, hot blonde childhood friend with no shame (I will assume real blonde and not a garyu since she was a blonde as a kid), big-boobed crush who is also crushing, weird Aunt, and a secret from the past he doesn't remember and she's not going to tell so we're left in the dark. This could either stay quirky and interesting or get boring very quick. I'l give it one or two more episodes.

Guess we aren't going to learn what ****** is either

Episode 1

Seeing that bleep is in the show's title that I was in for something disturbing. While Watari is a responsible guy, he's overdoing it and all of the sudden his childhood friend Satsuki suddenly appears to remind Watari of something bad. He's hellbent on protecting his sister who he has a siscon relationship with from Satsuki seeing that she wrecked their garden. And then Satsuski forcefully kisses him, while Yukari was watching. Whatever that bleep was supposed to mean, there's no question he's in for a rude awakening seeing that siscons are frowned upon, all while Satsuki isn't going to leave him alone. This show isn't exactly my cup of tea, especially with the vibes I'm getting, but I'll give it couple more episodes.

The naked dance at the beginning.

I liked it, but a 16 year old acting like a girl is the devil incarnate over a single act when she was 10 is a little much.

Her refusing to say why she did it is annoying, but the way he treats her, I almost don't blame her.

I think the hook is the love triangle

I keep getting the impression that the sister is five instead of ten. I can't really relate to any of the characters here. I'll have to think about it some more, but I doubt I'll be watching this show.

I like it. I appreciate that they don't linger too much on the teasing bits and quickly moves on from it, and that Nao doesn't do the usual flustered "Na-na-na-na-NANI?!" reaction. Hopefully, that's how it goes for the rest of the show to avoid making the teasing bits become irritating.

Gonna need that 'Garden' backstory to be revealed asap though, even if it's just during Satsuki's inner monologue-- Satsuki has no problems being so vulgar and blatantly honest anyway. Unless she has a traumatic reasoning for why she did what she did (family situation as well, maybe?) then I guess it would make sense that she don't want to talk about it.
For now, my theory is that it's simply gonna be her family having to move away, with her feeling so upset about being separated from Nao- presumably, her only source of happiness at the time- so she unleashed all those frustrations on the garden which is a symbol of their happy friendship.

Hoping for good comical bits coming from Nao's aunt.
Hopefully, they also give Nao's crush some character personality twist to avoid making her the cliché perfect kind and nice girl (something similar to the class pres in Shimoneta, but without the horniness. xD). Nao's best friend seem to have shown a hint of having a crush on her too though... or him?

She gave it away when she said "your garden was originally my family's garden" it's kinda obvious, as the whole plot seems to revolve around it, the garden is some symbolic representation of that time. For him and his sister the garden represented the happy time when their parents were still alive but for her it was something so bad she felt she had to destroy it. I'm guessing her family sucked (the opposite of him), also explains why she is in love with him, he was the "good" thing from that time. And now they are going to make a new garden together. Now that we know the destination, let's see if the journey to get there is interesting ;)

CR's subtitle unfortunately wasn't too straightforward and phrased it a bit different: "Your garden back in Shinsu actually used to be mine", so I just assumed it was some kinda random empty lot behind Nao's house that Satsuki also used to do gardening on (this is why I prefer to watch on Bilibili instead despite the grammatical errors). xD

Exactly. That's why it's quite understandable that Nao would have a hard time moving on from what Satsuki did back then. It might seem childish of him to still harbor bitterness towards Satsuki simply for destroying their garden back then, but his past 2 years with his parents passing away and their relatives passing them around after that is still a very fresh depressing situation for him, and that gardening memory is probably the fondest one he has with his family that he often reminisce, but Satsuki is always in that memory being a glaring bad part of it.

Satsuki did look like a gloomy kid during the flashback. Maybe a toxic family situation occured which made her lash out on the garden that used to be her own source of happiness.
I'm definitely quite intrigued about the backstory now. Hopefully, they put enough focus on that as well and not just the romance aspect.

Ohhh I see now, this is crap isn't it? More garden metaphors (growing like his relationships) and what was with the aunt fan serevice? Only thing that was interesting is the blonde appears to be really poor and alone.

Straight up stalker, Satsuki is. xD Not to mention, she said she's "... always been with [him]" in their past 6 years.

I do feel for Watari with him and his sister both not wanting to let go of the only person they have left, except in his case, his now at the age of being mature enough to realize that situation, while his sister is still a kid and would definitely have a much harder time understanding that they'd need to learn to keep their lives going without the other. While he is far from being in a 'sole provider' situation- seeing as they are still getting some budget from their aunt- that is still pretty much his future. So, making decisions for his own happiness definitely goes way back the line of his priorities.
I do hope that I'me seeing the story right. If it ends up being just an 'out of line' siscon situation, I'm out in an instant.

There's clearly something with his best friend, Tokui. They keep showing him lurking around being sus. Maybe he's in the same situation as Satsuki where he's so obsessed with Ishihara that he doesn't mind her being happy with Watari, but probably dislikes Satsuki getting in the way of that. Either that or... Yaoi.

We'll keep watching to see if there's really substance in the story or if it's just me imangining that it has.

Episode 3

And now, this episode centers around Ishihara as she has a crush on Nao and think that he's the picture of perfection. First of all, nobody's perfect, and second of all she's absolutely delusional. Just pathetic that was with the way these characters are acting in awkward situations.

This is so bad and the third girl hasn't even been introduced yet. How did this get made into an anime? I'm just watching at this point to see how bad and cliched it will get. Looks like the cliched beach episode is next, will someone lose their bikini top, have a misunderstanding applying sunscreen? Oh the anticipation is killing me ;P

Hmm, what are they implying when the mother admitted glasses guy was one of the reasons she asked Watari to break up with Yukari. Is she hoping Yurkari gets together with glasses guy, or did glasses guy make a mistake in the past that makes her worry Yukari will make the same mistake?
