Episode 1

This is a different take on the detective genre where it's focused more on the comedy than the mystery aspect. Nagumo is a struggling detective in a body that's letting him down, and all of a sudden a high school girl decides she wants to work for him as a detective. Seeing that he's just a shadow of his former self that he'll take anything. So it begins with two cases as first Nagumo and Mashiro end up exposing a couple in a shady relationship at a coffee shop, and then a pest extermination case with help from Cerberus, who contrary to his name is not a dog, but a cat, and was mistaken for somebody else's missing cat. With crazy in the show's name that of course that's what to expect from this show and so far it does just that. I'm not so crazy about this show coming in, but at least it has some fresh ideas.

The comedy isn't too strong and are mostly random if not generic. But I don't mind it yet-- it's still comedy so that's good for me. Hoping for some better bits though.
I appreciate that it's the kind of comedy that immediately throws away logic and realism out the window (Nagumo doing that to Mashiro solidified that as a fact xD), which means there's should be no expectation to the story and just enjoy the wackiness takes place.

I'm surprised Nagumo didn't "erase" Mashiro's 'Unlimited Storage' quirk. (BNHA joke xP)

I don't hate it, as "The Mashiro Show," but the "Blunder Your Way To Success" format is going to get old fast and if they keep it up, I'll be out before Episode 3.

I'm not sure about this one...I could see myself dropping it soon. It feels like a not so good ripoff of Hinamatsuri

I did see an Akira Toriyama-styled character in the trailer so I'm assuming this show is going to parody a lot of other shows.

It has already thrown in more parodies and references than I can even identify.

Immersion-destroying comedy and too much smoking. I'll pass.

@paulchaested Highly likely it would. But since they already gave away lots of the stuff they showed in the trailer, I won't be surprised if the parodies only last 3 episodes, then it's just random/generic gags and banters from there.

Ehhhhhh mildly amusing. About the same as Sakamoto days, guess I'll give it another ep or two. Those realistic drawings were scary o_0

Episode 2

First case involves a ghost that appeared on camera shortly after Mashiro passes by a guy stripped down to his undies. Of course, Nagumo figures out that it was just a prank with With Hayashida playing the part of the ghost. And then the second case involves a panty thief in which based on footage Nagumo is the culprit. It turns out that the thief really does look like Nagumo and Mashiro beats him to a pulp going to show just how athletic she is. Then Mashiro takes down Kint Man, who has set up a time bomb, and then kicks it into the middle of an abandoned stadium, which little did she know Nezu was inside. More random cases here, but it did showcase Mashiro's athleticism.

Pretty fun, the 1st one with the ghost was the best. He went from not having a smart phone to using one pretty well already huh?

Episode 3

Here comes Asunaro, who used to be Nagumo's assistant and now wants back in, but he comes across as a stalker. So he and Mashiro have a competition to decide who stays on, and Mashiro pretty much uses her brute strength to win. She's somehow able to carry all that heavy junk around as that weighed her down. And then when going after a stalker, they end up catching Nezu before figuring out Asunaro did it. The oddballs just keep on coming.

@SparkyBob hmm, 3 episodes out now, I have only seen 1. I really need to drop something because there are a lot of good shows this season. Chopping block at the ready

Best comical episode so far-- by its own standards, that is. Thought they'd actually do some detective work with some comedy act, but it was actually a total comedy sketch (I mean, they did find something, but unintentionally.)

Unfortunately, the comedy writing's limitation really showed in this episode. In most cases, even extra characters that are included during a comical bit stands out and makes some impact to the point of being a memorable iconic part of the show, but with this one, they were only fun during their screentime-- immediately forgotten as it wraps up. They didn't even manage to make use all the other characters even just for one-liners.

This has gotten funnier as it goes. Finally, side characters are making their presence felt and making some comical impact, especially... The 4 Creepy Men (including Detective Nagumo xD).

The comical bits and banters works much better now than earlier in the season. Although, they seem to recognize Maki's fanservice potential and has began overusing her xD (I'm just surprised they're not capitalizing much on scientist girl... yet).
