Anyone watch the Japanese version?

I did a quick google search and yea, japanese forums were talking about scene differences.. or rather cut scenes

Edit: my search query was "天官赐福 カットされた"
(カット = cut (for videos), された = was done to (the subject))

Maybe for runtime allowance? TGCF episodes never had a uniform duration, so compared to the textbook 23 minutes that Japanese animation adheres to… maybe it needed to be edited for length.
Don’t know for sure though!
