ML's character development is worth reading. I haven't read the novel but the episodes that have aired so far have been really nice. So I agree with you.

I'm reading the web novel right now and this plot couldn't get more pathetic, just constantly torturing the FMC with little to no actual growth to show. It's not a character study, it's misery porn that superficially touches on serious issues like trauma and eating disorders.

If you are curious about what happens as soon as the next season of the manhwa starts,

is the manhwa still on hiatus? I really love this so much and can't wait for it to go on, the art style is dead gorgeous and the growth of both Ruby and Iz are wonderful to read
