Can anyone remind me which arcs will be adapted this season if it is a usual 12 episodes based on how many chapters were adapted per episode last season, thank you.

Season 1 adapted Vol 1 and 2 of the LN (6 episodes per volume).

Most people are speculating that season 2 will adapt Vol 3 only as :
- It is a very long volume, about 50% longer that the previous ones
- It ends the first arc of the series and the ending is a good point to stop
- The 2nd arc covers Vol 4-7 so starting on it will leave us with a cliffhanger at the end of s2

cliffhanger haha not like every anime like that leaves us on it. its like a 1/100 chance for anime like that to get a 2nd season
