Nodoka's artifact is a mind-reading book, she improves her powers and it becomes easy for her to utilize more then one book at a time, to read the minds of many... The mind-reading ability of her artifact is activated by name... She acquires a name revealing item, eventually. the currently accepted ideal, is here: Talamare said: Talamare Her item is called "et diarum" or something like that which means "her diary" which generally gives her the power of empathy, she can easily read peoples minds, and even then it wont go very deep. usually it only shows a bit of how their feeling at the moment or something important on how to defeat an enemy... I feel she was given the item to more focus on her role as a book girl. Shes a much more romantic person who doesn't constantly analyze things or over think it. shes in touch with her feelings and is willing to act on them regardless of what the are, unlike so many others... Also i really cant see Nodoka with an offensive weapon, or anything that would harm others, i just don't believe she has the heart to truly do it. |

Nodoka's abilities were bestowed upon her, by her English teacher, Negi, a magic student training to become a great mage. She has the ability to read minds through a book. |
| since your first post will probably be the only one thats really read you should consider editing all the info into the first but we really should rewrite/phrase things better, and get more precise info translating her pactio would be a good start (i know i have the special manga page saved where it gives all the info on it, but i also really dont want to look thru 100 chpts of manga to find it) |
