The only major difference between the manga and the game is that the manga doesn't have the protagonist spend time with any of the social link side characters that were featured in the game. Although a couple of those characters do make appearances (i.e. Kenji and Hidetoshi), the manga doesn't explore their personal conflicts, just the main cast. Aside from that, the manga is almost identical to the game with some minor changes and additions here and there.
