The anime series was okay for what it is--a drawn out magical girl show aimed at a younger audience. The manga was much better for me. My first foray into Tanemura Arina and one of my earlier raw series I think.

Ill have to read the manga right after.

The series so far is pretty cute. I live the spinning animation when the teacher screaches the recorder. Remindes me of Card Captor in alot of ways. However, I can still see all the full moon character looming around ^^;

I do love how she makes her characters look different when they are transformed. Putting a tiara does not make for a good secret identity....but changing haircolor and eye color definitely helps! :)

Lol meaning Sailor Moon lol True but they used the excuse of being surronded by moon magic or something lol

Anyways from what I heard the manga is much better then the anime, but I was thinking aren't all of Arina's animes like that lol Full Moon was the same

I actually liked Full Moon the anime better, minus all the fillers. I felt it was more dramatic leaving a few bits of information out so that the watcher was suprised

Ok, so I finished the series. It got really good around ep 20, but everything before or after that was a wash for me.

The series notes were helpful in figuring out the differances in the manga and anime, and it reminds me exactly what happened to Full Moon, all the interesting side stories got cut out and changed because it wasn't kid friendly.

Ill start the manga tomorrow.

Overall I gave it three stars. The romantic in me wanted more with their relationship, and more for my new hero Noir ;_; Thats right, he's my fav...and he gets SHAFTED

Oh yeah I'm not saying I hated the anime. I loved it so much for it's own reasons. But if I line up things of what I liked better in each version. The manga wins.

I've heard that that's around the part where the manga gets better, Since the anime slacks off in that area.

Hmm... I didn't know they cut stuff out of Full Moon because it wasn't kid friendly(does this include Izumi and Meroko's past)

It definitely includes Meroko and Izumi, I mean, common. They skirted over the whole shinigami aspect anyway. Never mind Izumi and his mother, and the ties that Meroko has with the family.

Wow I knew already that they didn't show it since I saw the anime but Wow I never knew it was for that reason. That's actually really lame. It makes me love the manga even more now lol Especially since Izumi was my favorite character of the series.
