Didn't see me doing this thread but I guess Dennou Coil is indeed full of small hidden details ;). So here's what I found while searching for scenes:

Look at the books in the back... Cool, huh?
Might post more of them since I'm browsing through all the episodes I have so far.

The graphic script comming with DVD vol.6 of DC tells me how the prefigures were arranged in the episodes.
In episode 15, Yasako found her old diary and saw "4423" and the key hole.

In the script book, she also found a scribbled note "I have to find 4423 before the 'path' closes..."

I think Iso sensei removed this part because it's a bit redundant.

In episode 16, Haraken found a newspaper article with the name "天沢 Amasawa" in it.

In the script book, there was a picture of a mother and her daughter at the hospital.

Definitly it's Isako. I think removing this picture is also a good choice because it's explicit.

In another scene of episode 16, Yasako confessed to Isako that she had met Isako's brother.

In the script book, there is a scene clearly removed by Iso sensei with huge "X".

Isako: Summer....did you say "summer"?
Yasako: Y...yeah..
Isako: Then you're talking about a different boy.

Isako: At that time, my brother had already ....

If Iso sensei left this scene, the following Isako's line "I will tell you the truth if you wanna know it that much." would sound strange because I feel some discontinuity in Isako's mind.

From this volume, the story line is getting intense. I really enjoyed it!

From the production staff talk show "Dennou Coil Night" held on Jun 14, I pick up some interesting remarks.

Inoue Toshiyuki
"It's relatively easy to direct the action scenes, but the description of the daily life is not properly appreciated even if we draw it pretty well."

Hiramatsu Tadashi
"We draw the animation of the running scene all by the key animations for these 10 years."
Inoue Toshiyuki
"We had been doing like that only for the movie anime."
Iso Mitsuo
"We cannot trust the quality of the in-between animation done by the outsouce anymore."

Iso Mitsuo
"I brought my original Dennou Coil story to many sponsor companies but got rejected by all of them. So I asked Tokuma shoten for help."
"Production committee frowned on the fact that the director and the author of the original story were the same guy (because a director of an anime is supposed to be subordinate to the committee.)"
Sugii Gisaburou
"Did have a hard time out of it?"
Iso Mitsuo
"Um...VIP of the committee is sitting over there..."
VIP
"(beep beep)" (stop the convesation!)

Iso Mitsuo
"The average number of the animation frames are about 5000 for each episode, but I didn't place a limit to episode 3. I called Itou Nobutake and he did a really good job."

Iso Mitsuo
"In the provisional script, the description of the difference between the 'virtual world through the glasses' and the real world was first drawn in episode 3."
"I moved it to episode 5 (where Daichi stumbled by the hole on the floor of the bus) because the missile fight in the episode 4 should precede it."
"I intentionally reduced the number of scenes that exaggerate the difference of the world with/without glasses to avoid spoiling the impact of episode 23 and 24 (where the characters were deprived of their glasses)."
"If Yasako had believed that Densuke was a real existence, she would have failed to come back from the virtual world."

Iso Mitsuo
"If I draw Tamako, she looks 17, but Inoue's Tamako looks 27."

Iso Mitsuo
"There were 30 different endings. I wanted to end the story by that Yasako admonishes Isako and brings her back."

Saitou Kenji (the TV program producer of NHK enterprise)
"Director Iso had started to deliver the finished animation data one week before the airing day from episode 10." (it's dangerously late.)
"So I decided to insert the recap episode to ease the schedule."
"I got ulcer because of Dennou Coil."

Q: There were three possible age settings of Nobuhiko. Were there a possibility that he survived?
Iso Mitsuo
"Yes, he survived in some temporal scripts."
