I really love the Backloggery, since it makes me accountable for the games I play. I've noticed that I'm much more likely to focus on the games I enjoy and beat them ever since I started my Backloggery.

Now I've signed up here, in hopes of having the same effect. It seems to be working. For example, I just remembered about Higepiyo while updating Strike Witches, and caught up.

Does anyone know of more sites like these, or even a more general one? I'd like to find one for comics and books, for example.

Yeah, would be awsome. Would be hilarious if there was a site like this for regular movies as well as regular TV-series. It would kick ass if there was one for asian drama too, then i'd really turn into something pink, happy and furry :P

Hm, btw, HerrRiz. Is the "herr" prefix for "mr" or is that just unintentional :p? ("herr" means "mr" in some European languages including Swedish). I don't know, maybe they even use it in English xD If thats the case then nvm :P

It'd be cool if there was one for movies and TV. I wonder how I'd track House, though, as I've probably seen 70+% via scattered reruns on the USA channel.

Herr is indeed meant to mean the German "Mr.", since Riz is my actual name. I never knew it was a word in Swedish and other languages, btw. Thanks for the lesson.

Idd. It's probably quite impossible to keep track of what one saw on TV. I personally think it's too hard to follow so I quit watching TV altogether. DVD and torrents ftw : p

Cool, do you speak German? :). Well the Swedish language probalby just ripped it from German just like we did with most words (those we didn't rip from French or English that is.)

I know some German words, but I wouldn't really say I speak German.
I didn't watch any TV for like 2 years or more after my TV, which I hardly used, was stolen. But then I started watching House on Hulu and I was driven to get a new TV just to watch it. It's that good.

German is kinda fun. I know a few Germans and I use to try speaking German with them even though I can't. I really learn a lot from them correcting me :p

House =o Never even heard about it, but then again, maybe that's just cuz I never watch TV :P

Is Flickster any good? Every time I've glanced at it, it seems all style and no substance, plus a TON of bots and spam and fake accounts compared to other social websites.

I would like a decent site that lets you keep track of and share what movies and TV shows you're watching, especially because I watch so many TV shows on DVD.

For books, I use Shelfari. It's a decent virtual bookshelf.

For books, there's also LibraryThing.com, which has some pretty nifty features... and quite an active community too.

There is also tv.com for TV, MP3.com for music and Metacritic for movies. Then again, I haven't used any of those sites in years, so who knows if they still allow you to make lists (this was back when CNET was trying to have all of their major sites running on the same software that GameSpot had developed).

For me, it's less about motivation and more about organization. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to making nice, neat lists of my various interests.

Unfortunately... tv.com is crap. And I really want a site where I can list my tv shows.

Sad, isn't it? I remember when tv.com was something very much like tolerable.

It seems strange that there isn't a TV documentation site. There probably is one, somewhere.

imdb.com has gained list support - I've begun keeping a list of the shows I watch there, using the comments area to list which episodes I've seen

For asian drama there is this site or this site. They are both called My Drama List but different set up, the first one also has anime and the second one is a lot newer than the first.

It’s time to ditch the text file.
Keep track of your anime easily by creating your own list.
