Welcome to the P.A. Works Club!

- What was the first anime you've watched from P.A. Works?
- Why you like this studio?
- What's your favorite character/s and why?

Answer some of these questions and tell us more about yourself, where are you from and what are your activities on MAL!

Here's mine:

Bio: I'm Emanuele and I work as web developer in northern Italy. I start to watch anime during college and never stop watching from then! I like slice of life anime and manga and sci-fi. Nice to meet you!
1st P.A. Works anime: Angel Beats!
Like: Wonderful art and CG; how rural Japan is portrayed in works like True Tears and Hanasaku Iroha; heroines :3
Characters I like:
Hiromi Yuasa

Izumi Akazawa

Hiromi and Izumi are both strong and in some way controversial personalities. Their flaws make them more human and real, but they're not bad girls. Actually, they're both lovable. :3

This is more or less copied and pasted from my post in a previous thread, but I'll add in some new stuff, too.

Hi everyone, I'm Tenshouzan, but most people refer to me as Tenz.

*waves hand in salutary gesture while imagining himself in a group situation similar to an AA meeting*

The first P.A. Works-created anime I watched was True Tears way back before I really got into anime (which I think it was right around the time the first Angel Beats! episodes started airing.) In fact, it was one of the first anime I watched after I decided I wanted to start watching more anime.

I like P.A. Works because I think that as a studio they have an unusually high standard for the visual quality of the anime they create. It doesn't matter how much money you pour into the production of an anime, it will always take a lot of hard work and dedication to create, and I'm glad to see that they go the extra mile to make their work stand out. I love Canaan for how expressive the animation is (especially the action sequences), but my favorite P.A. Works work would have to be Another because I loved the ambiance and found the powerfully conveyed tension of this atmosphere to make for a very engaging watch.

My favorite P.A. Works character would have to be T.K., because I have a soft-spot for goofy side characters (it's just too bad Sentai Filmworks didn't do him justice in the English dub.) My overall favorite character would have to be Okazaki Tomoya from the Clannad series.

I work as an artist/animator-in-training and I'm always on the lookout for other artists/people who enjoy the arts to have fun or informative chats with (or both.)

1st P.A. Works anime: Angel Beats
P.A. Works animes I've noticed have a really standout art style, lush and detailed backgrounds with great attention to color. Angel Beats, Another, and True Tears best examples.
Characters I like: Kanade Tachibana (Angel) and Misaki Mei
