I need to say that I have watched but a few anime movies.Please recommend me a list of anime movies that you have watched and enjoyed.Thanks

the Neon Genesis Evangelion re-build movies. Also I haven't seen it yet, but still take a look at Ghost in the shell.

I thought the break blade movies were pretty good. If you're a mecha fan you will like it.

There's also one code geass movie out and the continued ones will be out at a later time.

All Ghibli Movies as Yakoo said and Spirited Away, Howls Moving Castle, and Princess Mononoke in specific

Sword of the Stranger. Pretty good
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (Cliche but I enjoyed it at the time of watching)

I also enjoyed the break blade movies.

You should watch the first ep of gundam 00 if you haven't already. You might like it o.o Imo people don't know what a true mecha anime is until they see the gundam seed series but that's just me.

I second the Studio Ghibli Movies, they all are really good!
But to give you a more solid answer:
