You can try Bakuman but its does not have the dark background of prison/crime that rainbow has. Its about two boys trying to become manga authors, one does the story and one does the art. They make friends/rivals who write for the same magazine and they compete in rankings(in popularity). Making manga is serious business as there are lots of problems the main characters has to face/help others.(Health, love, debt issues,etc) |
