Gundam Wing Operations in regards to quality

So how good is the quality of the official gundam wing operations 1-10? I am really mad, because I quickly and foolishly bought this import/bootleg off of ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MOBILE-SUIT-GUNDAM-WING-Complete-COLLECTION-ENGLISH-Dubbed-DVD-Box-Set-Series-/221070579399?pt=US_DVD_HD_DVD_Blu_ray&hash=item3378d556c7.

Honestly though the quality does not seem that bad but who knows the dvd's could be glitchy down the road. Does anyone own the bootleg and operations to compare the two, I know that is a long shot..
Is the quality on the official dvd's still not that good because of the old animation. Or is the quality and worth getting them. I am just asking about video and audio quality, nothing else. In any case I would prefer the official media, staring at these bootlegs make me want to throw them out the window...
