In this thread we share with each other basic things involving the characters, maybe tips on how to remember Hiragana/Katakana, and share sources for people to get on their feet in terms of learning the language.

Here is namasensei, he was inactive for about a year or so but seems to be back on the horse.
(Do not watch if you are easily offended or very much dislike excessive cursing.)
PS.
His handwriting is horrid due to the beer. Do your own research or simply use the image he gives. Try not to follow his own writing and do look up stroke order on your own as he might mix them up. He is not the Alpha and the Omega on learning this stuff, although he does teach well.

I have found a site that I have been using called www.learn-japanese.info
if you want to check that place out, it has vocabulary, grammar, and kanji lists. you can view most of the posts in either Romaji or Kana (Hiragana, Katakana, etc)
