So I'd like to contribute and all, but I'm new to the whole 'member card' and 'limited edition' terminology. So what are they and what does everyone generally do in the designer's club?

Actually I expected something else with a rundown, but lol, okay xD

It's not as hard to understand as u are probably thinking
Membercards are cards from a specific club. Members (like u) can request them freely, yes it's free, and u may save and rehost them when u get them!

What u can do with membercards? Well, put it on your profile, card collections....and you might use it when a staff-person (who started a thread with giving out cards) says you might get an extra card If you show your MC/membercard. <- Very handy

Limited edtion... well. Cards got different editions~ Limited is one of the most common~ It just means it's limited to a specific amount of requests, or time. (Before it's closed) But then there are also other editions, made up by people. But the basic is the same, I suppose~
..Like. Special Edition, there must be something special about it, or Solo Edition...One card, or just with one specific character.
And...so...on. =D

Basically TDC is a club that provides LEs, SEs and stuff. We make cards, and members who like to collect them can request for the cards. Cards generally, are of no actual/practical use, but a lot of members lilke to collect them cause they're pretty. Sorta. >w>

Occasionally, we have organise events and competitionts (like our most recent Secret Santa event), and members can get some other graphics than just cards. (which will have more practical uses, like avatars and signatures.)

So.... yeah, that's basically it. We're not the most active card club around, but we try. =w=;
