[Susumu Otonashi Route] The Case of the Disappearing Constellation

Amulius could sense that he's been followed, it doesn't take rocket science to figure that out. The identity of his stalker was clear like water, who else could that be? He combed his hair with his fingers and sighed, it's been fifteen minutes and he is still following him. That pretty much rules out the coincident possibility.

He spurned around, catching the man by surprise. Walking towards him, closing the distance between them. He asked, "What's the purpose of you following me? I'm not here to entertain you."

"You certainly have the potential of becoming a stalker, though you must work on your techniques a little." He replied and stormed off, increasing his speed.

Meanwhile, a woman with long white hair was seated in the back seat of the red SUV. She had been watching the entire interaction between Amulius and Susumu, enjoying herself, she had not expected to be exposed. Though she was observing them openly, following behind them, sealing her presence.

Deciding to approach Susumu to buy sometime for Amulius to exit. She pretended to bump into him who was observing something from the store window. "Oh, I'm so sorry about that. I wasn't looking out for you." She apologizes for her mistake and flashes a warm smile at him.

She giggled, man was he good. She quicken her pace and caught up with him, catching him by surprise, she pinned him to an alley and whispered into his ears. "Yarh, acting wasn't my forte but lying isn't as well. I'm not Vayu, but I am someone who can shed some light on your predicament." She smiled and puts more pressure on him, making Susumu stay still. She had strength despite her small frame.

She smiled at the presence of the knife, "Is that small thing in your hand supposed to pose some threat to me? If you're looking for him, don't bother because he is long gone by now." Releasing her grip on him only when she is certain that Amulius is out of reach of this man.

"Guess my job here is done, thank you." She bowed and walked out of the alley.

The woman looked young, no more than eighteen years of age. She had this rosy complexion and had dimple on her left cheek whenever she smile. She was walking away at a slow pace, as if waiting for the man to catch up.

She stops in her track, unfazed by the threat in his voice. Having a shorter frame means she would have to look up at the speaker which she did. She played with her hair, twirling it along in her fingers before speaking,

"Oh why you're very much welcomed. However I could had do a better job, couldn't I? I was surprised when the knife appeared." She pointed up and paused before continuing, "Your enemy? Or maybe your victim? Either way I'm not obligated to give you my name, is there? Besides, that's not the right way of asking for a maiden's name."

She wasn't offended when the man told her that she had what it takes to be a comedian. "Oh really? Thank you for that compliment, you aren't the first to say that. but unfortunately my talent lies somewhere else."

She grinned when she sensed that he's ready to attack. "Oh but I'm still an inexperience lady but even with someone like me, I could sense that you are ready to attack. Boy, your killing intent is so strong right now. And I wonder why."

She continued her smiles but now she's getting excited. "Do I know you?" She asked, tilting her head in serious though, pouting her lips, she searches through her memory bank and fond no match to the face she's seeing now.

"Nope I'm absolutely certain that this is the first time I'm meeting you, ojisan." She giggled and was jumping on alternate legs. A bad habit she had whenever she gets excited.

"I wonder~ After all I'm not a combat type of person, so I suppose I will die if I were to fight you, no? But then again, there is no certainty in life. Perhaps a thunder would strike near you."She ended her last sentence with a tap on her shoes. "So sadly to say, I'm not keen to be your first victim. Thanks for the offer though."

"Demo.. Opps~ I mean but lies are what painted the word the picture though." She giggled and looked at the man whose aura was deep and evil. But she was not intimidated by it, though she had this whole sweet demeanor, she is not someone he should underestimate.

"But I'm not lying about the part of me not been the combat style of fighter." She smiled sweetly, her finger twitches slightly.

She was spinning on her toes and feeling a little dizzy when she stopped. "A combat is a silly thing to do, there is absolutely no fun in that. And plus it tires you out. No fun at all." She replied, playing with her pink hair.

"You know what, if you wanner continue your wordplay then we should really find a place to sit down. This place is really hot." She offered, fanning herself.

"Don't worry I can do spinning in my sleep." She reassured him and laughs, "And even if I get scars I'm fine with it." There are enough healers back there to fix a scar if she gets one.

"Sure, your priority is Amulius?" She asked, her demeanor changes to a more serious one and she pulls her hands to her back and stared at him.

"I'm afraid I can't let you go. So why don't we chat for a while more?"

"Ojisan~ You'd really contradicted yourself, no? If you aren't bothered about him then why are you stalking him? You said that you don't have much free time to spare but you are spending your precious time on him? Uguu~ You confused me." She pouted, returning to her sweetness.

"Airhead? What's that?" She asked innocently, truly not understanding what the phrase means. "I'm just a protector, that's all."
