This was an odd little one shot manga. Was it all in the little boys imagination or did it really happen? If anyone has any insights into this, I'd appreciate them. |

Yeah, it was all in their imagination. If you think a bit about the story, Raiku Makoto uses the horror element as a medium to present the psychological pressure of a student when he/she comes upon an unknown question posed by a demanding teacher - The insects symbolize the student feeling bad about not knowing the answer - The students who don't remember their name represent that sudden blackout when we are asked a question that we don't know - The boy with the wheelchair is the power of imagination/friendship which can help you overcome your difficulties In my opinion a strict teacher of any lesson can become a monster in front of the students' eyes, but that will last only until the students find the correct answer or the bell rings. I really liked this one-shot. It was very creative |
