I have used it for drawing. I also use these pens for writing. Fountain pens make very smooth lines.
I have approximately 1 terabyte of anime on my computer.

I have a fountain pen. I use it in an attempt to draw like a mangaka (I still lack lots of actual drawing practice, though. My art is not great at all).

@DesuMaiden I know about controlling line weight. I was never really too into studying art from a theoretical angle, though I know I'll probably have to study all that someday if I want to actually get better.

@Kdekalcio from my personal experience, there is no variation in line weight, you just need to make sure you use the proper ink(s) for fountain pens, don't use the wrong ink, or else your fountain pen might get destroyed by the wrong ink.....

Never tried it, but I got a feeling it would be messy.

@anen0me so which brands of fountain pen did you use? Was it a fancy/expensive one? Or was it a cheap one?

@DesuMaiden it was a beautiful pen. No idea how expensive or fancy, it was a gift - but it was the sort of thing someone would show off. it wasn't like ivory or tortoiseshell or anything like that. Not THAT fancy
but it WAS kind of fancy
or okay it was one of the fanciest looking things i've ever owned that isn't jewelry
Like i said, i haven't seen it in a long time. I don't even remember the brand. I know it had multiple heads. Actually, talking about it makes me want to track it down and use it again. I didn't realize how much i missed that thing.

@anen0me fountain pens can easily be obtained from Amazon (assuming Amazon operates in your current country of residence).

@DesuMaiden
you can navigate to wikipedia
and navigate to amazon
and navigate to controversies
and that will probably get you started

i've actually been awake for two days straight and i'm hungover - and still sick - so this is a rare case where i don't have the energy to rant about amazon
