I completed this about a week or two ago and I must say I really enjoyed the anime with the ending being really good for me.

Today I was just wondering did lelouch ever tell suzaku about what happened to euphy? Because as long as i remember he never did and suzaku probably still blames him for it. So I wanted to know if there was any confirmation about it from the author or anything else.

I also wanted to ask if i should watch those 3 movies that are said to be an alternate timeline and the sequel anime

Lelouch didn’t tell anything ‘bout euphemia to suzaku as far as I remember. If he had already said, Suzaku wouldn’t blamed the Lelouch

No Lelouch doesn’t outright tell Suzaku but during their confrontation in episode 17, Suzaku kinda figures it out and calls out Lelouch lying about the stuff he is saying such as purposely Geassing Euphy to cause the massacre. However, even knowing it’s not necessarily intentional by Lelouch, Suzaku as well as Lelouch both agreed and thought they should pay for their sins which include the responsibility of what happened to Euphy as well as the death of those during that incident even though its indirect and accidental.

Yes definitely check out the alternate timeline movies as well as the re;surrection one. Idk why they get so much hate especially in 2025.

The sequels aren't bad, but if you don't wanna ruin your positive impression of Lelouch's ultimate sacrifice, then better don't watch them.
No, this isn't my signature.

I know you probably already got answers to all these but I’ll provide my input as well. First off the movies aren’t cannon to the shows universe (seasons 1 and 2). They made recap movies for seasons 1 and 2 and the other movies continue from that universe. In the recap movies they change some things and it’s just not the same as original show. So if you wanna watch the movies then watch the recap movies first then the following ones.

And for the lelouch and Suzaku think I don’t think it would be something of importance to tell suzaku. Yes technically it wasn’t lelouches fault for everything that happened with euphy but it was still something that his chain of events caused. Lelouch blames himself for what happened on that day as well so he has no intention to try and clear his name for suzaku.

I recommend watching Lelouch of the Resurrection if you wanted more Code Geass / an alternate ending /secret scenario. You could even watch it right after the show with no issues.

I personally don't recommend the compilation movies - they are worse than the show because they compress too much, and do not differ ultimately in any meaningful ways (one character does not die - which amounts to nothing - and the CC ending scene is slightly different).

Most other Code Geass material is not very good - I didn't watch the newest entry, but Akito the Exile was embarrassing. Great ending theme though.

My assumption was always that Lelouch and Suzaku cleared the air about a lot of things in and after C’s World. This led to Suzaku embracing Lelouch’s goals and then ultimately inheriting his will at the end of the series. That wouldn’t have been possible, or delivered as emotionally, if Suzaku still hated and distrusted Lelouch the same way as he did when Euphemia first died.

The movies were fine. Internet opinions always seem to be way too extreme. Just call the movie trilogy an alternate timeline and enjoy.

Lelouch did not, but I believe V.V. did at the end of R1. That's why Suzaku was so angry at Lelouch and believed he needed to be kept under watch.

V.V. is a plotter and manipulator. He’s not a nice guy, and he doesn’t want Lelouch to succeed. It’s implied that he told Suzaku something along the lines of, “Lelouch has a magic power that can force people to act however he wants them to, and he used that on Euphemia.”

I highly doubt that V.V. told Suzaku that the Geass was going out of control, that Lelouch had no idea that would or could happen, that he tried his best to counter or undo it, and that he was emotionally devastated by the whole thing.

Suzaku called out Lelouch on his acting in S2 though? It was when Lelouch and Suzaku first met to talk seriously, and Lelouch faked that he killed Euphy on purpose. Suzaku knew Lelouch too well to believe that, so he called Lelouch out on his bullshit. He must have figured that something went wrong which wasn't necessarily Lelouch's complete fault, but he never finds out the real truth in the end. Nevertheless, Suzaku understood Lelouch even under his mask, so he didn't completely blame him for that incident but he did encourage him to take responsibility until the end for his decisions the way Lelouch wanted.

The movies aren't worth it. For most CG fans, the movies and the extended universe of CG aren't worth checking out. R1 and R2 are the most ideal and best version of Lelouch's story. The movies read more like fanfiction, and Lelouch doesn't die in the alternative universe of the movies for the sake of milking the franchise.
