| Fukusuke is devoid of dialogue, so there is no big need for subtitles. However, there is some Japanese text in the beginning that I've at least tried translating. I'm not fluent by any means though, far from it, so see this a merely a suggestion. 00:17 - Fukusuke [title, name of MC] 00:26 - Director: Ryuichi Yokoyama 00:30 - ? 00:35 - Composer: Ryoichi Hattori / (Shiseido??) Otogi Colour 00:41 - "At the frogs' home, a strange baby was born." 00:47 - "Strangely enough, the baby's head was as hard and heavy as an insulator." 18:03 - The End As for "ふくすけ" (Fukusuke) itself, I think it's supposed to liken the MC with 福助 (fukusuke dolls), traditional Japanese dolls which have particularly large heads. "SHISEIDO" might refer to the company, but I don't know. "Otogi" is the production studio. |
