| Hi Guys, I got this little Theory after reading Vol.1 of the Manga. This will contain Spoilers of Vol1, and is concerns the murder mystery so don't read this if you haven't read at least chpt.1 or the Volume. It's only based on the Info from the Manga volume, i haven't read the novel. I think it's possible they both died of carbon monoxide poisoning. If you don't know or remember what that is, here is a shortened wikipedia excert: Carbon monoxide poisoning typically occurs from breathing in carbon monoxide at excessive levels. Symptoms are often described as "flu-like" and commonly include headache, dizziness [...] and confusion. Large exposures can result in loss of consciousness [...] or death. [...] CO is a colorless and odorless gas which is initially non-irritating. It is produced during incomplete burning of organic matter. This can occur from heaters [...] that run on carbon-based fuels. Carbon monoxide primarily causes adverse effects by combining with hemoglobin to form carboxyhemoglobin preventing the blood from carrying oxygen and expelling carbon dioxide as carbaminohemoglobin. The fire is also shown multiple times in the panels, which implies it's important.  In this panel we see that the flames stretch inward to the room, which aludes to a blocked or diminished smoke escape. Gas as a cause of death does not occur to fmc which means that It's possible that neither mc's know about carbon monoxide poisoning, because either it is not discovered yet, or they have never themself started a fire and lack the neccessary knowledge as they are both noble children and the firemaking is part of a servants duties. Also some other things: It's weird that she notices this guy she touches hands with so late?  Who is that? Why did she not see him lying on the ground earlier? And our Murderer standing at the door, while she calls for help.  It looks like he's wearing a student uniform. I just collected some of my thoughts for now. Looking forward to your thoughts.
