| ID#: 020 Name: sasohina My first impression of Dogs and Badou,huh..? Well for Dogs in general... the first episode was quite weird for me. I can't say I liked it but I didn't dislike it either. I just thought it was strange that they started the anime with the old assasin's story. I thought it would be Haine first..? But nooo, it had to be the assasin...who is quite cool. o.o But anyway! I already knew Badou and Haine before I watched the anime and I have to say I loved Badou from the moment I saw a picture of him and Haine. That picture actually made me watch the anime.. ^^" I think it was.... Yeah,it was this one : I really liked .. no,scratch that I LOVED Badou from the first time I saw him in the anime too (when he was getting off from the train). But I have to admit .. At first I was quite disappointed at his cowardness. But then I realised it actually quite suits him. Going back to the first episode... Yes, I thought it was rather weird yet I liked it~ So I immediately proceeded into the next episode : Badou! Ohh how I loved that episode! Badou's clumsiness and cowardness makes him a really funny character and I can so relate to the I-don't-have-a-smoke mood swings since I am a smoker myself. The moments that truly made me fall in love with Badou was his bad-ass scene in the end. This: I was literally laughing my a*s off when he finally got a cigarette ... just to get it blown to pieces by that gunshot. And if you're looking at the video I just have to note : Badou looks amazing when he looks down a few seconds later. <3 The chibi flashback or dream or whatever it is was totally epic but what was REALLY EPIC was ... *is speechless because she's watching it again* Evil and bad-ass Badou definitely is the best!! *watches it a second time* I wonder what would have happened if he didn't put the guns on 'Semi' but 'Full' instead..? o.o By the way, I should tell you that when I watched the anime I replayed the scene from where his cigarette gets blown to the end of the episode about 10 times. I just love it <3 The ending of the episode just made me fan-girl scream~ I mean who wouldn't? Just look at him! This is getting a bit long and more like an analysis then a first impression but oh well! :D Overall, Badou. Is. Awesome. (No shit,Sherlock.) Going back to the other two episodes. Naoto was cool. I liked her in both looks, personality and her story. It was a nice episode though nowhere as awesome as Badou's. And then we finally reach Haine. Okay, a girl with wings? Seriously? Definitely weird! And Haine kind of disappointed me. He didn't quite reach my expectations for him as the supposed main character. But maybe it's just that my expectations were a bit high.. ^^" And still..he kicked some serious a*s in the episode! Overal for the anime, it was AMAZING. I think I'll read the manga someday because the episodes were too short >.< and I want to have more of DOGS. I'm sorry for writing something so long... o.o" Edit : I just noticed how many times I contradict myself in this post but ... oh well... I can't help it that some parts were weird yet somehow very good! |
