Knowing how fast Season 2 was announced after season 1 and released within a year it seems the this is the Studios #1 priority right now. They so far been really good at releases so I am gonna expect this to be a mid-late 2024 release assuming it goes like Season 1. Then Season 3 possibly early 2025.

I mean we had this series come out a year ago and have already gone through 2 seasons at this point.

I think the reason why they made it into a movie because they don't have enough material. After volume 3 they took almost 2 years each for the next 2 volumes in other words 4 years. If season 3 were to come up next year the author better either step up the writing on the Light Novels or make the scripts for the anime for the future Light Novels.

@maiman the light novel have pretty much to adapt.
The anime adapted the light novel not the manga.

@kisaragi_eki tergantung sih anime juga bisa mengadaptasi novel ringan ataupun manga. Misal kalo dari awal sudah condong ke novel ringan ya pasti selanjutnya akan mengadaptasi novel ringan juga masa iya abis adaptasi manga lalu novel ringan pasti ceritanya bisa saling bertentangan

Q2 2025 at earliest. Theatrical releases are generally slower than TV because schedules are unnegotiable - you have to be 100% ready when the date comes, unlike TV shows where episodes can get postponed with a week or two and it's not that huge of a deal.

Movie will adapt the remaining of vol 4. And right now, we only have vol 5 completed and vol 6 still ongoing. judging by season 2 of the anime adapt vol 3 within 6 - 7 episodes. Assuming Vol 5 will be adapted in 7 episodes at best. then, it's a no. Not enough source material.
What an amazing show. The MC personality is totally what I'm into to see the show. a shadow lord remaining in the background but OP.
I remember there are also other character with a unique situation that caught my eye. Arifureta. what else? um can't remember

Jesus the replies are shit. Volume 6 was done in 2023. Even if the movie finishes covering volume 4 there 2 volumes left. That's more than enough for another season if it's single cour like the last one.

@Liquidacid i think that whos making the series is taking the base from the light novel, but also getting inspiration from the manga, that's probably why the series has a quality so good even thought it was made in less than a year. Also, the manga is important to get inspiration about the clothes, and art designs of the characters.

i predict/hope winter season we'll get it late 2025 would be disappointing but as time goes by the later predictions become more accurate :/
