Some niche French company got worldwide licenses for this season, swiping it right from under Netflix and any other potential seekers. For the time being, only France and Spain get to watch the simulcast via legitimate means. So any episode summaries I post here are based on torrent rips. Episode 1 Weisz is upset because he thinks Rebecca's Ether Gear steals a bit of his thunder as Arsenal. While Rebecca's bathing, she has a terrible dream where Shiki's protecting her from some robots and Happy's dead. When she wakes up, Sister tells her that Shiki, Weisz, Pino, and Homura went to infiltrate a ship that has been persistently dogging them. The ship turns out to be a portion of the planet Guilst that escaped before the planet was assaulted by the Chronophage. While investigating they find Sibir from Norma. Like the old version of Weisz, this Sibir left Norma before the Chronophage attacked. However, Drakken Joe knows that Shiki's group is on board, and he's sent a trio of his own to attack the Edens Zero.

Looks like Bilibili is getting set to stream the new season in Southeast Asia. At least when they do, there will be better English subtitles.

Both last week's episode and this week's are now available on Crunchyroll, so there's no further need for me to resort to dubious measures as the series progresses. Episode 2 Witch easily takes down the trio who invaded the Edens Zero, but Drakken discloses the faces of Shiki's group to the people on board the pursuing ship, the Belial Gore. So they're forced to run to a park, where Weisz makes some virtual disguises. Pino's happy that she can look like a human again. But someone comes out from the nearby river, introducing himself as Laguna, one of Drakken's special forces, the Element 4. Anyone who cries in front of him turns into a puddle. First to liquefy is Shiki, who was crying tears of happiness for Pino, followed by Pino herself. Laguna steps on Weisz's foot to make him cry in pain, and while Homura puts up a good effort, Laguna crushes an onion in front of her face. However, it seems Weisz saw through Laguna's plan and he put on a performance of his own to escape being liquefied. Weisz transforms into Arsenal; donned in full armor, there seems to be no way Laguna will be able to see him cry, if he ever does.

HOOfan_1 said: Mat's right: Netflix still has season 1 subbed and dubbed. I've heard people calling this current situation some form of payback after what happened with Takagi-san. Netflix swiped the second season of that show from Funimation, and now Crunchyroll takes the second season of this series.but no season 1...seems kinda stupid...but I still have Jim Hawkins to help me find it |

Episode 3 Weisz creates a circle of fire to surround him and Laguna, but Laguna brings Weisz's armor to the point of overheating. Hermit gives Weisz the idea of manipulating the cooling system, and he gets close enough to knock Laguna down. Shiki, Pino, and Homura return to normal, but not before Weisz gets shot by a sniper, Fie of the Element 4. Pino tracks Fie's location, and Shiki sends the next shot he fires right back at him with his Ether Gear. Then Sibir creates a smokescreen so they can get away. Rebecca and Happy then take a ship to the Belial Gore, using Rebecca's Ether Gear to boost its speed and get past another ship that was sent to intercept them. But when they arrive, the other ship's pilot, Sylph, traps them in a sphere of wind in the palm of her hand.

Episode 4 Shiki, Pino, and Homura head to where Sylph ambushed Rebecca and Happy. They find the case with Weisz's medicine, but Sylph is waiting for them. Then Jinn, the guy Shiki fought on Guilst, shows up; evidently he's Sylph's brother. Homura runs away with the case and Sylph gives chase, leaving Shiki and Pino to deal with Jinn. Meanwhile, Rebecca wakes up in Drakken Joe's room, and she learns that Noah, her guildmaster, sold her group out. He takes Rebecca to a cell where her rival B-Cuber Labilia is chained up, and tells Rebecca that he was pursuing the Edens Zero...because he was after Rebecca herself. Drakken pushes Rebecca into the cell and leaves. Rebecca tries to undo Labilia's restraints, but someone emerges from the floor. This man, Daichi of the Element 4, moves to grab Labilia. Rebecca tries to shoot at him using Happy in dual pistol form, but branches sprout from her wrists and pin her to the wall. Elsewhere, Jinn shows he's gotten much stronger since his battle with Shiki on Guilst, and Shiki can't even get close to him. Meanwhile, Sylph catches up to Homura and uses her Ether Gear to make her kimono vanish.

Episode 5 Homura manages to run into a building where she finds some clothes and masks to change into, but she soon finds herself as part of the show at a dance club. Unfortunately, Sylph catches up to her and ensnares all the customers and the other dancers into a ball of wind. She then tries to ensnare the case as well. Homura tries to retrieve it, and that's when Sylph gets the upper hand. Meanwhile, Drakken stops Jinn and Shiki's fight, then turns Shiki to stone when he tries to punch him. And Fie finds the unconscious Weisz at Sibir's bar and shoots Sibir and his bird before taking Weisz away. Shiki arises aside Rebecca, Homura, and Weisz in front of Drakken and his cohorts. He crushes the can of medicine meant for Weisz, then orders Fie to cut off Weisz's arm. Drakken then tells them that the three mercenaries he sent to the Edens Zero turned the tables on Sister, Witch, and Hermit. Shiki refuses to yield even after all this...so Drakken shoots him in the head! According to Xiaomei, this story isn't over, so how are things going to proceed from here?

That was a sad ending for Shiki. He thought he was in a fun adventure story, but things got way too serious for him in the end. Oh, wait, we have a number of episodes left. I suppose he'll be brought back somehow or replaced. But that's still going to leave the heroes with lasting trauma, I would think. (It's hard to know with shonen shows.)

Episode 6 A week has passed since Shiki was shot, and Rebecca learns why Drakken Joe is so fixated on her. While she's taking a shower, her Ether Gear activates, and the next thing she knows, she's in Sister's infirmary on board the Edens Zero. Somehow her Ether Gear caused her to jump back in time. Rebecca stops Shiki's group from infiltrating the Belial Gore so she can tell them about the events she experienced. While they're discussing things, the three mercenaries Drakken sent punch a hole in the ship. Witch defeats them single-handedly like last time, and Rebecca tells the group of their backup plan they were intending to use if they got captured. Now that they have knowledge of the future, the Edens Zero charges straight for the Belial Gore and punches through its dome.

Episode 7 The Edens Zero lands in front of Drakken's headquarters, where the Element 4 are waiting. Homura and the three androids deal with them while the rest take Rebecca's ship to the building's rooftop, evading gunfire on the way. Upon landing, Rebecca's group encounters a hologram of Noah, who tells them he sold them out for the purpose of defeating Drakken Joe. Noah's communication gets cut, but not before telling them about Drakken's other moniker, "Undead Joe," and the fact that Rebecca likely knows Drakken's weakness. Unfortunately, Rebecca doesn't know what that weakness could possibly be. Also, Drakken's other nickname somehow seems familiar to Weisz. Laguna is annoyed that he can't get Witch to cry, Daichi gets kicked in the groin by Sister, and Homura uses her Ether sword to cleave through Sylph's wind. Meanwhile, Hermit hacks a drone to attack Fie, but he turns up the heat to counter it. Fie then escapes through a duct to a nearby cache of guns so he can snipe Hermit. But once he fires, Hermit evades the shot, and at the same time she hacks all of Fie's weapons and turns them on him.

Episode 8 Sister uses a whip on Daichi's butt, but Daichi ensnares her in a tree. However, Sister causes the tree to dissipate, and then she rejuvenates Daichi so much that an explosion engulfs him. Witch tells Laguna to reconsider his reason for fighting before she zaps him. Meanwhile, Homura is forced into a dance club by Sylph. Homura uses her Ether swords to create wind that blows in the opposite direction of Sylph's in order to counteract it. Sylph begins to get scared, and her hairpins suppress her emotions, but Sylph cannot get the upper hand anymore and is swiftly defeated soon after. Rebecca's group finds Labilia, seemingly unharmed, which contradicts Rebecca's recent memory. Then Sibir shows up and he brings them to a storage room where they can talk in peace. He then tells the group how Weisz (referring to the old Weisz) stole a case of money 50 years prior. The money was on loan to Sibir's group by a lender named DJ Zombie. Turns out this man, DJ Zombie, is Drakken Joe, and he hasn't aged in all this time. In fact, he's closer to 200 years old. Rebecca surmises that Drakken is after her Ether Gear so he can use it to become younger again because his body is reaching its limits. She believes there's some sort of life support system he's using, and that they need to destroy it if they want to have a chance to defeat him. Drakken emerges from a rejuvenation tank, and realizes the Element 4 have been defeated. He then ponders why the Edens Zero assaulted the Belial Gore and comes to the shocking realization that Rebecca's Ether Gear has awakened. Meanwhile, Labilia begins to act strange, and she reveals she is in fact, not the girl Rebecca's group came to rescue.

Episode 9 The girl posing as Labilia introduces herself as Amira, and the group actually met her on Digitalis, although only Homura knows Amira's true face. Amira freed the real Labilia before assuming her identity and told her to hide somewhere. Homura finds Labilia at the dance club while looking for a change of clothes. Amira was planning on turning herself into Drakken to tap into his memories in order to find his weakness, but now that she knows Shiki's group wants to take him down, she wants in on the action. Just then, the floor turns into tar; Drakken has found everyone. Before he can grab Rebecca, Shiki punches a hole in the floor and grabs Drakken, sending them both down through the building. While Shiki is fighting Drakken, Sibir leads the others to the life support machine, where they find Jinn guarding it. But Amira knows the secret behind the machine: it is sapping the life force of everyone around it and giving it to Drakken. Even Jinn's sister, Sylph, is no exception. When Weisz hears this, he runs off, and Rebecca and Happy go after him. Amira was hoping Weisz could alter the machine to flow in reverse, thus weakening Drakken in the process. But Hermit thinks she can hack into the machine to do the same thing; she just needs a security device destroyed before she can proceed. Knowing that his sister is being affected by the machine, Jinn slashes the security device in half. Shiki grapples with Drakken, who causes his Ether Gear to go into Overdrive. Drakken begins to petrify Shiki, but Weisz punches him, forcing him to let go. Apparently, Drakken killed someone very close to Weisz.

Episode 10 Weisz is out for blood because Drakken's machine sucked the life from his mother years ago. But Weisz gets pummeled by Drakken, and Shiki saves him before his arm gets cut off. Just before they can resume the fight, Drakken lurches over; Hermit has hacked into the life support machine and reverses its flow. However, the effect that occurs is unexpected; Drakken's body begins to mutate and spread across the entire ship. And as if that wasn't bad enough, he activates Satellite Blaze, the weapon he stole from Homura's mother Kurenai on Sun Jewel, and aims it toward Blue Garden, determined to wipe out Noah and the entire planet! The room with the life support machine starts to collapse, and Sibir saves Pino from getting crushed by falling debris. Meanwhile, Shiki and Weisz get overwhelmed by Drakken, who is about to shoot Shiki in the head. Just then, Shiki recalls memories that Rebecca experienced before she went back in time, and the bullet stops short of hitting his head before falling to the ground. Shiki's Ether Gear goes into Overdrive, and he creates an orb of energy that effectively functions as a black hole, drawing debris in. The Edens Zero fires at Satellite Blaze, with Hermit, Witch, and Sister supplying their own energy to what's already available. Back on the Belial Gore, Shiki experiences Drakken's memories, about how Drakken has a natural lifespan of only fifteen years. Shiki then condenses Ether energy into his fist and delivers a massive punch.

I'm a bit disappointed that Drakken goes out as a generic tentacle blob monster. He loses his status as an intriguing villain. His backstory is kind of wasted at that point. We should have seen it earlier when it was still relevant.

Episode 11 Drakken ages rapidly and can't move anymore. Weisz aims his pistol at Drakken, but the shots fired end up in the floor next to him. Amira takes Drakken into custody, and Sibir gives Weisz his mother's pendant before the Edens Zero leaves for Blue Garden, with Labilia, Jinn, and Sylph on board. But when Rebecca brings up Connor, the others are puzzled, as only Rebecca seems to remember him. On Blue Garden, Noah discloses to Rebecca's group his true affiliation as the director of the Galactic Intelligence Agency, and that their efforts in bringing down Drakken need to be kept secret to avoid hassles. Rebecca then talks to Noah in private about any information he might have on her family, as well as why only Rebecca remembers anything about Connor. Before continuing their search for Mother, Shiki asks the group to stop by Granbell one last time. Elsewhere, on board a ship called the Edens One, Connor, the ship's captain, sets a course for Granbell as well. Once Shiki's group arrive on the planet, Shiki learns the truth about his robot friends' actions when Rebecca and Happy first met him. Then Ziggy appears behind them.

Episode 12 Shiki's reunion is cut short as Ziggy proceeds to level Granbell Kingdom and announce his intentions to rule over all humanity. He tries to force Pino to join him, but Shiki manages to talk her out of defecting to Ziggy's side. Once back on board the Edens Zero, the crew faces off against the Edens One, piloted by Connor and manned by the Four Dark Stars, androids designed as the successors of the Four Shining Stars. In fact, Edens Zero itself was a prototype for Edens One. Edens One proves to have the overwhelming advantage, but just as it's about to fire its main cannon, Elsie Crimson and her crew intervene.

Episode 13 Edens Zero manages to barely avoid the blast from Edens One's main cannon, after which Ziggy decides to withdraw. Elsie talks to the crew in person about Ziggy, saying that he's not the same person she and Shiki once knew, and that Ziggy intends to find Mother. Elsie leaves to chase Ziggy, after which Shiki decides his group should leave the Sakura Cosmos as well. Edens Zero traverses Dragonfall, going through the wake of dead dragons that Edens One left behind. Once out of the Sakura Cosmos, the ship finds itself in a literal ocean in space, the Aoi Cosmos. The ship actually was in this area years ago, but the log was deleted. Fortunately, Hermit managed to recover a bit of the log, and she suggests their next destination should be the Fire Planet, Red Cave. She also found information on the Aoi Cosmos's big authority figure, Poseidon Nero.

Episode 14 Justice receives a call from his superior, Jaguar. It turns out to be a private meeting among them and other members of an elite group they are a part of, the Oracion Seis Interstellar, and it regards Elsie's movements into the Aoi Cosmos. Justice decides to go after her. Meanwhile, the Edens Zero reaches Red Cave, which is more of a tropical paradise than its name implies. After having some fun on the beach, Rebecca and Shiki notice a ship crash into the ocean. But when everyone goes underwater to investigate, they find a skeleton in the cockpit. Weisz spots an underwater temple, so they head there next. While investigating the area around the temple, a giant octopus attacks. Shiki has trouble using his Ether Gear underwater, but once he surfaces he becomes heavier and crashes into the octopus's head. Everyone runs for the temple, where they meet its android guardian, Nadia.

Episode 15 Nadia directs the group to a cave under the temple, where a beacon to Mother awaits at the end. Unfortunately, the cave is filled with fire and magma, and it's too hot to proceed on. Fortunately, Witch travels to Blue Garden to get Laguna to help. While everyone waits for her to return, Nadia tells them about a human engineer named Andrew, who left to bring back a stolen treasure 200 years ago. Rebecca realizes that Andrew is the skeleton on the crashed ship. Witch and Laguna return, and with their assistance, Shiki rockets through the fiery cave, where he gathers some of Mother's Ether. When they return to Nadia, Witch tells her of Andrew's fate via the crashed ship's memory card. Andrew managed to take back the stolen treasure rather quickly, but on the way back to Red Cave, a meteor crashed into his ship, and it was sent reeling on a trajectory that would take 200 years to reach the planet. Fortunately the treasure, a large candlestick, survived the trip, and it brings back to life all the robots around the underwater temple. The global water level actually drops because of the treasure's return.

Episode 16 The next stop for the Edens Zero crew is the planet Foresta, and Elsie's ship is on its way there as well, after she exposes a spy in her crew and sends him away for Justice to pick up. When Shiki's group lands on Foresta, they find a city where robots are treating humans literally like dogs. They meet up with Couchpo, one of Rebecca's B-Cuber friends, who tells them the robots started acting like this since the past week, when Ziggy hacked the planet's networks to spread his message of robot revolution. Just then, robots converge on the group's location and attack them. Meanwhile, three commandos working for Poseidon Nero are on the planet with orders to destroy the robots.

Episode 17 Drones approach the Edens Zero, so Laguna, Sylph, and Jinn take to the skies to intercept them. But while analyzing how Ziggy hacked Foresta's network, Hermit realizes that she, Witch, and Sister will soon be affected as well. Meanwhile, Shiki's group find a small robot who hasn't been affected by Ziggy's brainwashing, and that Poseidon Nero's forces are destroying all robots regardless of whether or not they've been brainwashed. Just as the small robot finishes explaining things, it gets shot by Mora, one of Nero's commandos. Mora glues everyone else to trees and attempts to destroy Pino, but Shiki manages to uproot the tree he was glued to and attacks Mora with it. After a brief scuffle, Mora's two companions, Britney and Orc, show up. Shiki uses his Ether Gear to free his friends, but then bomber drones appear above everyone. Orc takes to the skies, hijacking a drone to use as a platform to shoot at the other drones. But in the midst of the smoke from the bombs dropped by the drones, everyone gets separated. Hermit gets through to Weisz, who is with Couchpo, and asks him to return quickly to the Edens Zero. Homura is growing weary from the heat of nearby fires when she encounters Mora. Rebecca, Happy, and Pino encounter Britney, who has smoke coming off of her body. Orc crashes his drone platform in front of Shiki, and they start fighting. Shiki tries to tell Orc there must be a reason why Ziggy has gone mad, but Orc doesn't care about the reasons why, and he knocks Shiki down to the ground.

Episode 18 Britney turns into electrified smoke and zaps Rebecca, Happy, and Pino, while Mora uses hot glue to torture Homura. Meanwhile, Shiki gets up and goes into Overdrive to knock Orc down with a massive punch. Orc mentions the name of another strong Gravity Ether Gear user, Shura, and that Shiki and Ziggy are bound to face him someday. When Weisz and Couchpo return to the Edens Zero, Hermit tells Weisz about a satellite transmitting a computer virus affecting all the robots on Foresta, and they need to modify it to restore the robots, as destroying the satellite won't turn them back to normal. Weisz and Hermit head to the satellite, while the others cover their route. Elsewhere, Elsie and her crew encounter some berserk robots, so she uses her Ether Gear to absorb the planet's Ether and create some armor. Then she unleashes an attack from the stars on the robots. This draws the attention of Justice and his cohorts. Mora continues to torture Homura, when she decides to throw dirt on him. The dirt sticks onto Mora's body, but he easily shrugs it off. However, that's the opening Homura needs to incapacitate him. Before Homura collapses from the heat, Shiki finds her and tries to take her to a spring he noticed on the way. But a spider scares him, and Homura is forced to drag him to the spring instead. Meanwhile, Rebecca tries to kick at Britney with increasing speed, but it doesn't work. So she grabs Happy and Pino and runs into the burning part of the forest, forcing Britney to take a roundabout route to chase them, as the heat affects her smoke form. Meanwhile, we catch a glimpse of Shura at the end. He seems to be a womanizer with a very sadistic streak, and a bit of an entitlement issue as well. It seems like he's about to scold a new girl for missing a phone call from him the night before, but instead he sends two other women who were fawning over him straight into the ceiling.

Episode 19 Britney catches up to Rebecca as she enters an appliance store. Rebecca tries to use a vacuum cleaner to suck Britney up, but the machine is locked with a password. Pino tells Rebecca the password, but Britney unleashes a corrosive mist on Rebecca before she can capitalize. Just then Cat Leaper activates and Rebecca is sent back in time a few minutes. With the information she gathered beforehand, she easily sucks Britney into the vacuum cleaner, then kicks it far away. Rebecca tries testing the limits of her Ether Gear's abilities, and while she can control it to an extent, she can't use it a lot at any given time. Meanwhile, while Homura recuperates in the spring, she and Shiki sense the presence of three new people, more members of Nero's commando force. Weisz and Hermit infiltrate the satellite spreading the computer virus, only to find Doctor Muller, a source of Hermit's past traumas. Muller zaps Weisz and captures Hermit, preparing to torture her like he did in the past. Elsewhere, the new commando squad find Shiki and Homura, but Victory and Creed arrive and easily subdue and restrain them. However, their relief is short-lived, as Justice shows up and realizes Shiki and Homura have met Elsie before. Justice orders Creed to lock up Homura, and he easily stops a punch from Shiki, proclaiming he'll kill him because of his connection to Elsie.

| Episode 20 Justice basically has the same power as Elsie, and he completely overwhelms Shiki. But just before he deals the finishing blow, Elsie steps in to save Shiki, and she and Justice go at it while her cohorts try to rescue Homura from Victory and Creed. It turns out Justice and Elsie have a personal history, as Elsie used to be a princess and Justice was engaged to her. But Elsie exposed corruption in her nation, and a war broke out because of it. In space, Jinn is forced to bring his sister Kleene back to the Edens Zero, as she is paralyzed with fear. Meanwhile, Muller recognizes Weisz and turns his attention to him. Weisz activates Arsenal and calms Hermit down. But Muller throws a switch that sends a signal to all the robots on Foresta, and they start massacring all the humans. Rebecca, Happy, and Pino save a little girl, but are soon surrounded. A robot approaches Shiki and uses a gravity attack over the entire planet, immobilizing everybody for a while. | Episode 21 Xenolith mentions that Ziggy has fallen to the dark side of the gravity arts and warns Shiki to be careful not to meet the same fate. Rebecca, Happy, and Pino get Homura from Victory and Creed, and they learn the little girl they rescued was with a robot companion. Unfortunately, that robot happened to be the one Mora shot and destroyed in front of Shiki. Meanwhile, Sister prepares to dive into Kleene's memories to determine the source of her fear. It turns out that Muller is the source of Kleene's trauma as well; he cut up Jinn's body while he forced Kleene to watch. When Weisz learns of this straight from Muller's mouth, he goes ballistic on him, but Muller triggers a system that sets Foresta to effectively self-destruct. Weisz cuts Muller in half, but Muller tears apart his Arsenal armor. Just then, Laguna arrives and short-circuits Muller. He then uses his water to bring Weisz close enough so he can disassemble Muller's mechanical body, leaving him nothing more than a head. Hermit then proceeds to modify the satellite's program, but she's missing one crucial thing to get through the firewall. She scans Muller's retinas, then sends the head flying with a punch. Sister erases Kleene's traumatic memories, while Hermit shuts down Foresta's self-destruct system and eliminates the computer virus affecting the robots on Foresta. |

Episode 22 News of what happened on Foresta has garnered the attention of Poseidon Nero, and he has called a meeting of six warriors collectively known as Oceans. Also at this meeting is Shura, his son. After rolling some dice, Nero decides to give control of the mission to Shura, who plans to crush Ziggy at any cost. As a demonstration of his resolve, he actually crushes the head of one of the members of Oceans, a robot named Cyca. Shura declares he doesn't need robots on his team when facing Ziggy. Meanwhile, Xenolith decides to train Shiki in the Edens Zero's VR facility, and Rebecca, Weisz, Homura, Jinn, and Kleene join them. After a virtual run, Xenolith trains the group in using Ether Gear while bound. But then something happens, and Xenolith turns into Ziggy within the VR space.

| Episode 23 Ziggy removes everyone except himself and Shiki from the VR space, then brings Rebecca back and proceeds to crush her. Furious, Shiki manages to break out of his restraints to try and attack Ziggy. But then Ziggy turns into Xenolith and everything returns to normal. It seems the glitching out was Xenolith's doing. After the crew exit the VR facility, Xenolith gives them a bottle cap that somehow was in close proximity to Mother. Everyone trains with Xenolith for the next week, and Rebecca gets further training by Witch in the bath. Before Xenolith parts ways, he mentions to Witch, Hermit, and Sister that when he met Ziggy, he was by himself. But the androids are sure they were traveling with Ziggy 15 years ago. Meanwhile, Ziggy declares to the Edens One crew his next objective: to conquer the Aoi Cosmos. After the Edens Zero crew find a building on a planet of mud, Witch suggests they leave Aoi Cosmos for a while. Just then, a news report reaches their ears about five robot revolts similar to what happened on Foresta being suppressed by Oceans. | Episode 24 Hermit does some research and finds out there were no revolts on any planets other than Foresta, which means the "quelled uprisings" were actually massacres of innocent robots! Shiki suggests the crew go after Shura right away, but Laguna mentions they're no match for the defenses surrounding the capital of Nero's empire. Laguna proposes they head to the desert planet of Sandra to talk to someone in person. Meanwhile, Ziggy surmises that Shura plans to use something called the All-Link System to wipe out all the robots, and Ziggy desires to use it to control them himself. Of course, Shura actually is expecting Ziggy to go after it. On Sandra, Laguna brings the crew to the headquarters of a rebel army called Oasis, led by a large cat man named Goodwin. The rebels have a beef with Laguna, but it turns out Goodwin is a huge fan of Rebecca's B-Cube channel. Goodwin describes the All-Link System. Every few years, all the planets in the Aoi Cosmos get submerged underwater, and all networks become connected. The All-Link System takes advantage of this phenomenon by using the ocean's Ether, and the next cosmic high tide is in three days. Just then, someone runs in reporting an attack by the Imperial Army, only to get shot by soldiers who were following him. Shiki and his crew join the rebels in driving the soldiers out of the base, followed by going into town to drive them out. Meanwhile, Nero refuses to take any action to stop his son from going too far, because he believes his dice will guide him to victory. |

Episode 25 (END) More imperial reinforcements show up, but Shiki's crew dispatches them easily. However, a large bomb that can wipe out half the planet is detected, so they head to the western part of town to stop it, with the Edens Zero covering their advance. Shiki swiftly gets past Orc, who is guarding it, and throws Pino to the bomb so Hermit can hack its system. But Orc activates the bomb, so Shiki has to throw the entire device into the atmosphere. Hermit manages to weaken the bomb before it detonates. Goodwin's forces agree to join the Edens Zero in assaulting Planet Nero 66, where Shura and the All-Link System are located. On the way there, Weisz overhears Laguna talking to one of the rebels, who tells him the daughter of Goodwin's predecessor was killed by Shura. Justice and the government army attack Shura's forces, and Goodwin's rebels create a diversion so the Edens Zero can break through and land on the planet. Just like with last season, this episode ends with a teaser of what's to come next. But honestly, this isn't a good stopping point unlike last time.

Wow, I have mixed feelings about this show. It has a pretty good adventure story and good action. The show is a little too shounen for me, though, and the intentionally ugly characters bother me. The ending just didn't feel right. I was expecting something else, and what I got wasn't all that interesting. Now I have to wait for another season for them to get back to what I was expecting. 6/10
