Initially Airi did have a lot of screen time, however once she joined the kitty club, Shingo was spending more time with Miu and Sana. Airi presented herself as a tsundere against the merger repulsing the sight of boys at her school. When Shingo assigned himself part of the student council, interactions between Airi and Shingo increased to the point where Airi was comfortable with bathing with Shingo. Miu was displaying her considerate and affectionate side from her first appearance where Shingo was attracted to her devotion towards the club and compassion for both animals and those around her.

come to think of it, the MC fulfilled his role to save/change Airi from her insecurities which was enough contribution to anime. The real poor girl of this anime is actually Sana Inui
