Last time we talked about underrated shows now lets talk about the opposite, overrated shows.Now this will probably get me flamed but i really did not like Yu Yu Hakusho so that would be my answers.

A over rated anime in my opinion would Cowboy Bebop. I have tried to watch it so many times and I just cant get into it.

Very easy target but honestly the Dragon Ball franchise as a whole is so overrated for what is, in all honesty, a really mediocre show. And don't get me wrong I love the franchise. I love the fights, the art style, the characters. But as a whole it really isnt that good.
