Ui feels as a bad end

I have readed online that in the manga Him ending up with Madoka and not Ui so that fealing weird for me after I readed that the anime has such ending Ui fealing wierd. Madoka and him has a story as kids to.

Well since original source is visual novel I guess they tried to show us diferent endings in the manga and anime adaptation. For me Ui ending wasn’t bad and if I remember correctly the anime didn’t explore Madoka route that much
