| They gave you the answer already. All are canon. NGE is original content (The manga was released after the Anime aired) so by technicality Manga is just reimagining the concept and giving just another ending (Meant to be more light hearted and satisfying after the Anime released the final 2 episodes without any budget) The End of Evangelion is the True ending as the author intended. The 4 movies are also meant to complement the same ending. 3.0 + 1 is the TRUE/SHIN Ending and final Epilogue because that one brings the complete conclusion to the whole franchise so that one is the absolute canon closure. |
