| I thought it was mid for most of the time but there were like 4-6 eps which I thought were amazing. Although it does really well in terms of psychological it can still get really uninteresting some times |

| I literally just finished the last episode and I thought it was a solid 8 for most the time. It had some extremely boring parts to it, and some interesting dynamics at times, but it took me months to finish it because I was mostly uninterested in it. However the Last episode really touched my heart. Even though I don’t fully understand what happened, the general theme of just being yourself and how everyone perceives the world differently really hit hard for me. When you say how this is both the best and worst anime ever made, I 100% agree with you, as it is a fact that true art can be boring at times, but the message that is being conveyed is what makes art a beautiful thing. |

Evangelion is iconic, popular, and influential and all, but it also seems to be one of the most polarizing, which I can kind of understand due to its unconventional writing and direction. You either like it or you hate it. You resonate emotionally with the characters and themes or you don't. Eva is all about character. If you don't like the characters and want nonstop action spectacle, then you're gonna have a bad time. Also, if you shit on Shinji for being a wimp beta cuck and want a Kirito 2.0 to kick everyone's ass and get all the girls, then you're doing it wrong. Now watch The End of Evangelion and have a jolly ol' time, op. |

| OT, it's definitely one of the best shows out there in terms of directing. Lots of anime directors are just managers who do the job in the time allowed. Anno isn't. He disrespects deadlines like nobody else, but on the bright side he's actually a director in the artistic sense. So many shots in NGE are miles above the competition.
