Hello^^
I'm pretty sure some of you already know how I feel right now:P
Kanji-my worst nightmare:P How to you stop keep forgetting them?
I know making it a habit is important and necessary and I'm also willing to do that but when I can write and memorize about 100 kanjis I can't repeat them every day because it would take a while to write down 100 kanjis every day plus learning more.
So how are you doing it? Or is it just what it is and I have to go through kanji the hard way?
Do you learn kanji and grammar, vocabulary,... separately or all together?

before I stopped learning kanji I was able to memorize about 200 kanji but now I want to start again and I'm already scared of the number of kanji I forgot and I'm even more scared of the number of kanji I remember:P

Any tipps or experience? Thanks in advance! :)

Hello Kisakii!

I´m not sure if you know this website but I found it very helpful for learning about learning kanji. It´s called Tofugu ( https://www.tofugu.com/ ). For learning Kanji I really recommend their kanji knowledge database ( https://www.tofugu.com/series/kanji/) especially the articles :

ON'YOMI and KUN'YOMI IN KANJI: WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?
If you already know the difference between kun and on yomi just skip to the "How to learn Kanji readings" part

THE 7 DIFFERENT WAYS TO LEARN KANJI (AS I SEE IT)

QUESTION: HOW SHOULD YOU LEARN KANJI?

And I really recommend their "MNEMONIC METHODS for LEARNING JAPANESE" series ( https://www.tofugu.com/series/japanese-mnemonics/ ).

It´s a lot to read but I think it´s really helpful and interesting.

If you read a few articles on Tofugu you may notice the WaniKani ads (WaniKani is a Kanji learn platform made by the same people as Tofugu...) it may be a bit annoying but I´m a huge fanboy of WaniKani so I recomend trying the first three levels for free.
