| I just watched this movie, and I'm kinda confused. The movie showed us events happening all across the timeline, going back and forth, and sometimes changing the way the same event happened. Is there a time-loop going on? For example, when Touko's first body dies, we can see Kokutou's body laying next to Alba's, which shouldn't have happened yet. Also, Kokutou said he got the sword when he went to Shiki's house, but didn't he go to her house when she had already left with Enjou, at which point she already had the sword with her? Could someone write me a quick rundown of the timeline of this movie? I'm personally a fan of the way the movies have been presented so far, but this one left me way too confused. Oh, and please don't spoil the next movies, since I haven't watched those yet! |

The only one in an actual loop is Tomoe(even though at first glance it might look like everyone is in a loop), and of course several of the movie's scenes are out of order and sometimes doubled, like when we first see Aozaki Touko enter the building with the red suitcase and pan out to see Alba Cornelius, Kokutou is on the floor already beaten even though he's still in the office, but then in the later scenes he's not there anymore. That one scene is from the second fight and not the first, that's it but not actually part of a loop. The one thing i don't understand is why would Kokutou go to Shiki's room if he knows that Touko is trying to rescue her in the Taiji building? And why would Touko need her head to be destroyed before the second body came to life? And if that statement is actually correct. |
