Digital sales currently account for one-third of all domestic manga sales and rapidly growing. This is according to data from the All Japan Magazine and Book Publisher’s and Editor’s Association (AJPEA), published in February 2017

Print manga sales (2014): 356.9 billion yen
Digital manga sales (2014): 88.7 billion yen (19.9% share)
Total manga sales (2014): 445.6 billion yen

Print manga sales (2015): 326.8 billion yen
Digital manga sales (2015): 116.9 billion yen (26.3% share)
Total manga sales (2015): 443.7 billion yen

Print manga sales (2016): 296.3 billion yen
Digital manga sales (2016): 149.1 billion yen (33.5% share)
Total manga sales (2016): 445.4 billion yen

It'll be interesting to see if the growth of ebooks' share of the manga market slows down now as other book markets have when reaching about a third of total sales, or if its market share continues to grow at its current pace.
