Should I finish this series?

I have watched 7 episodes of this second season. I really liked the first season. But everything is different in this season. The girls are all cutesy all the time instead of realistic. Their infatuation with their mentors is much more pronounced. The plot, such as it is, is pretty boring to me.

Is there anything in the rest of this series and OVA that makes it worth finishing for me, after what I've said?
